about

Hey everyone! My name is Kristen, I'm 20 and I'm a college junior studying pharmacy. I've been blessed with a really good life, and part of the reason for that is because I've learned to see GOOD in everything that happens to me.

I love giving advice, and I've been told that I do a good job at it, but I'll let you decide! Feel free to ask me anything... don't be shy, that's why I'm here. I've been through a lot... moving from one country to another, leaving and finding new friends, break ups, boys, middle school, high school, college, self esteem issues... pretty much most things that people need help with.

I usually spend a good amount of time answering your questions, so I would really appreciate it if you leave me an honest rating along with some feedback (good or bad!) It really does help me improve my advice... and in the end, that's good for YOU! Talk to ya soon! :)

advice

okay i've had the flu since sunday and every night i have a problem sleeping! i take 2 nyquils every night about 30 minutes before i go to bed.. then like around 4 in the morning i wake up coughing and extremely thirsty.. it just seems kind of weird because the docter i went to said that it was just a flu and to take 2 nyquils every night and a whole bunch of other stuff in the daytime, but its not working!

so anyone have any suggestions on what i can take to help me sleep better at night?

sorry to hear you're sick... i just recovered not too long ago. ok this is goin to sound gross, but it makes your throat feel SOOO good. fill up a glass of water and microwave it for about a minute or minute and a half. then add about a tablespoon of honey in it and squeeze some lemon into it as well. mix it up until the honey dissolves... sounds gross, but it's not that bad AT ALL and did miracles for me right away! also keep a bottle of water next to your bed and drink it every time you wake up at night from coughing! drink a LOT of water ALL day! it helps! hope u feel better soon!!
