ok so for lent i'm promising myself to walk the dog atleast 1 a week, do 15 situps a day, eating healthy (tho i can never do it) and practice soccer and tennis whenever i can....what else can i do to get results....FAST?

You need to incorporate regular intense cardio into your daily routine to burn fat. (Biking, jogging, tae bo, etc).
You MUST watch what you eat because that is a major part of taking and keeping fat from your body. If you constantly take in more calories than you burn, your efforts are useless. Also, by eating healthier, you're going to feel more energetic.
Be sure to eat breakfast each morning as it will kick start your metabolism.
Results are only going to come when you set realistic goals and commit yourself. There are no tricks.
