Heyy, im homescooled but about 2 or 3 months ago my parents promised they would let me go to public school..its been 2 or 3 months and, you guessed it, im still homeschooled. I wouldnt care THAT much but ive told absolutely EVERYONE in my town that im going so they all think that im going in the third quarter (even though im homeschooled alot of people know me) I dont want them to think im a liar or anything so how the hell can I persuade my parents to let me go?!
it's tough, if you were goin through "withdraw" so to say. Where you weren't having a strong social life, it would be easy. But since alot of people know you, it's not that simple. You're gonna just have to make them understand. It's been proven that 65% of homeschooled kids do better in the buisness world. but 53% do not hav e a strong social life, and lack speaking skills, like public speaking, and starting normal conversations. You could explain that to them, and maybe it may help. Just try to get them to understand. Good luck!
