advice
Okay so i'm 16 years old in the middle of my junior year in high school. I really want to move in with my mom who lives across the country from my dad. My mom wants me to move in with her too so she hired a lawyer and had to pay 5000 dollars for all the stuff. Since she had to pay all this money she has really been strapped for cash and might have to move into a smaller house, and maybe even to a new town, forcing my little sister to change schools. If i tell her i dont want to move then she can get some of the money back probably about half. My mom really wants me to move in with her but this financial stuff is really getting bad. Should i tell her i should just stay so she can get half the money back? Or should i just move anyways? Making her have really bad financial security
any advice would be great
Ow...you're going through such a tough time. I'd say wait for a while till she gets better financially. If you move in now, she's gonna have loadsa new expenses (YOUR school, your sister's, food, clothing, transportation, blah blah) and that wouldn't really help make the situation better. However, if you waited and found a part-time job or something, you could help her with the money stuff when you think she can afford to have you move in.
Wish you the best of luck. Let me know what happens, ok? =)

(Rating: 5) If i waited she would just lose the money she already paid, then when a good time was ready she would have to pay it again. Thanks for the advice, take care
