I'm a republican, and every single one of my friends are democrats. If they insult the president (Even though they know that I'm republican) then it's okay, but if I say any republican views they all look at me like I'm a bad person. What should I do? I'm not the kind of person to just sit back in any type of debate but I can't help but feel like my opinion doesn't matter just because it's not a democratic one. (link)
It's good to have political views, but depending on age ~ well, lets just say that most kids aren't very accepting of Republican views. I'm not certain if you are still a child or not ~ but judging by the fact that you seem to have a concrete group of friends that have stubborn political views ~ i'd assume that you are more than likely 18 or under.

Most kids don't do enough research into things to actually know what they are talking about. Most just hear a rough outline of an issue and take a side ~ and if they hear that is the 'democratic' side ~ then they think they are a democrat, and won't agree with republican views.

Just ignore it, don't talk politics with them.

Yeah I'm exactly 18 and all my friends are older than me but no older than 23
