Well Its always been my dream to make a cd and have it in stores and like all that stuff! well I have gotten this offer and I can get this thing its like a record deal.. you make a cd and everything and it goes in stores ALL over the world.. but its just to see how many people will like you.. and id make about $7,000.. which is like nothing.. but if alot of people got my cd.. Id get an actualy record deal and more money.. so my question is.. Should I go for that or should I just make a demo and send it to a bunch of record lables and then try to get signed by a big record lable?

i'd definitely take that offer, it's a great opportunity! so you don't make that much, it's still a good learning experience with the business and you'll get a lot of exposure. if people do like you, then you'll get an actual record deal, so you're skipping a step by doing this instead of sending a demo to record labels. good luck to you!
