im a 16 year old female.
im losing my best friend she goes to the other highschool and she has a new best friend bethany. it gets me so sad because i cant make a new best friend, i still want ashley to be my best friend. ash invites bethany everywhere like on family vacations to arizona, and stuff like that. i used to always go to arizona with them,. no i wont make a new best friend so dont say that. how can i fix all this i want my bffld back! I'm sorry, first of all. I've noticed since I've been on this, that I say, talk about it with the other person alot. It's a good thing...but in this position, I don't want an argument to start up.
It's completely understandable that you DONT WANT to make a new best friend. And it's jealousy that is also coming over you as well...with Bethany. It's normal.
I do want you to start talking to Ashley about this problem, but instead of flat out saying it...ease into the whole situation...days at a time. Don't put it all on Ashley at first, because she'll get confused...and start fighting with you. Ashley most likely doesn't understnad what she is doing to you, because as a best friend...she wouldn't do anything to hurt you.
I want you to first mention some things about how you feels to her. Ease into the situation enough for her to get the clue of what she is doing. She should then start realixing, when you see that. Tell her everything you feel. With a best friend, you have to be completely honest, because have a bestfriend, means having another part to your family and heart.
Be sweet, like I am sure you are. Be honest, and do not beat around the bush. Let me know how it goes hunnie.
