Hi,
My baby rabbit just died from a heart problem :'( We knew she was gonna die because she was very ill, but we got her anyway because we wanted to give her the best life we could because we knew it would be short!! So, we got another rabbit with her. Now our baby rabbit has died, the other is soo lonley!! My mum wants another rabbit to keep her company but I'm not sure, I don't think I'm ready to have another one in her place just like that. Am I being selfish by not wanting another rabbit even though the other one is lonley? What should I do? (link)

Heyyy! You aren't being selfish, you are just greiving over the loss of a pet. Well, this is just my opinio, but rabbits love comapny and since your not an adult yet and your in school it is going to need someone there with it. Take your time getting over your loss it is a really sad thing; I know I have been through it numerous times and it never gets any better or easier. If rabbits are anything like birds then they can die from depression of beign alone. That does happen to birds if they are alone they will stop eating and eventually die. I don't know if rabbits have the same problem but just to be safe get another one but take your time. In the meantime spend more quality time with it, hodl it more, when you aren't home turn a raido on for it so it at least hears a voice. This is going to sound really weird but I do it for my cat... My cat always sleeps next to the phone so I call and leave a message on my ansering machine and I swear hearing my voice makes him happier lol. Good Luck!
