advice
okay, my mom has been going to NY with her boyfriend like every 2 weeks for a month and half..and other times before it. whenever this happens..she says i should watch my brother and sometimes she would sleepover in the city and then it is required that i stay home and watch him. Well, i am getting annoyed with this becuase i want to hang out with my friends..but i can't just tell her to stop gong out, she has a right to also, but i am 16 and i have the right to go out too..How do i talk to her about this and what do I say? PLus..whenver i do get to go out if she is in the city, my friends have to give me rides and they are getting annoyed.
When your mom has time... try and sit her down calmly.. and tell her straight up that u know that she is an adult and that you are a teenager and that she should deff. have the right to go out and everything... BUT you are a teenager and you need to be with your friends at this point in time. And also that through the experience so far you have learned so much on how to take care of kids better... but now after doing all of this you want to go out and you want her home at some points and also tell her that at some point it might be nice if she could come home and spend some sort of time with you.
I wish that i could help more but i dont exactly know the whole entire situation.. But i hope I helped! let me know what u think and what happens!
