oh my god og my god oh my god please anyone help i cant even type my best girl friend just committed suicide last night, i'm freaking out. i just heard this morning, she lives two streets away from me, i'm 16/m. she's 15/f. wow i really dont know what to say shes my only friend that ever listened to me and actually cared and i feel like im one of the main reasons she killed herself. she had tons of problems, and lots were with ppl i talked to and stuff. i duno what to do, oh my freaking god. i cant believe this. please help i seriously think i was the main casue of her wanting to die

I can identify with the pain you're feeling right now... I was out of the country over Thanksgiving break, and when I got back to the airport on a Saturday night, I turned my cell phone on when I was in line for Customs and Immigration. And I had a text message from an unknown number (I had to buy a new phone and lost all my contacts). It said, "hey can u see if u can put a special page in the yrbook for sarah" and I thought... why would I do that... so I called one of my good friends... and she told me that Sarah had a brain aneurism on Monday or Tuesday... and her family took her off of life support on Wednesday. The worst part was that I wouldn't have even known about it until school started again if I hadn't have gotten that text message... the next weeks at school felt like a nightmare. And it wasn't until the funeral that I realized... she lived such an amazing life on Earth, and God took her from us for a reason. She was a French horn player. At the funeral, the pastor said, "Maybe God needed another French horn player in his heavenly orchestra..." and it hit me like a freight train. There wasn't an earthly reason that she died... God took her from us for a reason. I still have trouble believing this all happened, and my life has been a blur since that Saturday night. But I hope that you can realize that you are not the reason that your friend passed away. I know it's cliche to say that God needed her for a higher purpose... but I honestly think that's the truth. After going through what I went through, it's a calming thing to think of... that she's looking down on me. I know that nothing I say can make you feel better... it's something you have to cope with over time. And even though it may not feel like it... you have a guardian angel watching over you. I'm not especially religious, either, but I know that your friend would not want you to be so heartbroken. In time, you'll learn to deal with this tragedy, and for now, mourning is one of the best ways. And it's scary that somebody our age (I'm 15) can go so quickly. There was a 45 minute wait at Sarah's visitation. Kids from my school were waiting in a line outside the funeral home, in the rain. There were a lot of people there that I didn't think were very good friends with Sarah, but her death had such a great impact on them that they came to pay their respects. The best thing you can do is be supportive for her family. I hope I gave you some peace of mind... but if I didn't, that's okay too. Things like this take time. But just remember: you have someone to watch over you.

ok i know this is a weird question but does any one now what the laststring on a guitar is, i meanlike the thinest string? and if you now how to tune a guitar that could help too thanxz

~trisha~

the thinnest string is the E string. from thickest to thinnest, the strings are tuned as follows: E-A-D-G-B-E so that might help you a little bit. if you're trying to tune the E string, you can play that note on a piano or another instrument and match the pitch.

is eric clapton considered as a rock artist?

eric clapton is considered both a rock and blues artist. his early stuff was mainly rock and roll, and then he got into blues music. so he's essentially blues rock. however, many people consider him the world's greatest guitarist either way. EDIT: i just thought of this, but i went to one of his concerts a few months ago, and he played a fair amount of rock music. he also played a few blues tunes. a lot of people consider him more of a rock artist, but i consider him a blues artist.

I don't know, I've just been thinking about this alot lately. Okay, you know how people always say that to go to Heaven you have to believe in God and be religious and such? Well, what about a person who is kind and selfless and is just a good person in general and is an athiest? Does that mean that they wouldn't go to Heaven even though they were a good person who did good for other people? Because if you think about it, not every person who is religious is good. Like the terrorists who flew the plane into the World Trade Center, causing the deaths of all those innocent people. They claimed that they were doing that for God and their religion. I mean, wouldn't it seem wrong for a person just to go to Heaven because they were religious even if they weren't a good person, and a person who was a really good person not going to Heaven because they weren't religious? I was just thinking about this and wondering if anybody had some answers, perhaps?

you're going to get a lot of answers on this one, so i'll just give my personal opinion. i agree with you. i am methodist, but many of my friends believe that you HAVE to be baptised to go to heaven. on the other hand, i have never been baptised. i am 15. does that make me a bad person? no. and there are plenty of people that are horrible people and have been baptised. in my personal opinion, no matter what religion or anything, if you are a good person, you will go to heaven (or the equivalent). whatever the religion teaches about eternity (or the idea of heaven), i believe that a good person of that religion will go there after death. i have a jewish friend. she is a great person. one of my baptist friends was telling me, "don't you feel bad that sarah isn't going to heaven because she's a jew?" but i don't believe that because she's a jew, she won't go to heaven. i believe that because she's a good person, she will go to heaven (or if jewish people believe in something else besides heaven, then she will go there, i'm just not familiar with judaism). anyway, i just believe that as long as you're a good person, there's something good in store for you in eternity. but people shouldn't really worry about whether or not OTHER people are going to heaven/hell, because that's the same as judging people. see what i'm saying? it's kind of like, mind your own business. anyway, i hope i helped you a little bit.

I have a project where I have to "interview" people who remember John F. Kennedy's assassination. In another words, I ask them questions about the event. However, this cannot be anyone I personally know. I can do this through email. Anyone have any ideas where I could go about finding someone?

ask your parents if they have any coworkers or employees that would participate. you could also ask a teacher at your school (one that you don't know) or a classmate's parent. do you have any neighbors that you haven't met before? you could even ask them.

I need free sheet music for my Ocarina. I've searched everywhere online for sheet music! I've tried Google, Ask, Yahoo, Dogpile, and Mamma! I'm going crazy. I need to find some sheet music by Friday night!!

help!?

because the ocarina is not a popular instrument, i don't know how much luck you will have in finding sheet music specifically for the ocarina. you can find flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, trumpet, and even piano sheet music and play it on an ocarina. i'd recommend 8notes.com because they have simple sheet music for popular songs. i also play the ocarina (kind of, i actually play a lot of different instruments but i have an ocarina that i can play) and i have a little book that is for ocarina and flutes. try googling free sheet music again, but don't specify ocarina. you'll be sure to find something that way that is definitely playable, even though it may not be specifically for ocarina. the ocarina music and sound is so much like the flute that it really shouldn't matter. good luck :)

Im 15 and my boyfriend is 17 we have been dating since the 6th grade and he will be 18 in a couple of weeks! Are we going to have to brake up because he will be legal. I really love this guy and we have been together for 4ever! Whats a girl to do?

as long as you're not sexually involved, it's okay. i know an 18 year old who is going out with a 15 year old, and that's not out of the ordinary. otherwise, it could be considered rape because he will be an adult and you are a minor.

ok im not gonna tell u my reason why i am asking this cuz its a long story but would they have halftime at a football game at 9-10pm at night for a SCHOOL?

yeah, my high school has halftime no matter what. the junior high school does as well. i don't see why they wouldn't. however, if the football game is JUST from 9-10, i don't know if there would be time. but i'm in the high school band, and we normally perform at night because games start at like 8.

i'll make this short, how do i break my cell phone, like to the piont of no revival?

wash it on full cycle. rip the circuit board out. go to a mall parking lot and put it behind the tire of somebody's truck as they're backing out. run over it with your car. throw it in a swimming pool. throw it against a brick wall. set it on fire. bash it against a table. pour kool-aid on the display. get some friends together and play catch with it. beat it with a hammer, or something heavy. rub vaseline in the battery compartment. duct tape it to the roof of your house right before a thunderstorm. have a friend stomp on it. duct tape it to the bottom of your shoe and jump around. give it to a little kid. why are you trying to break your cell phone?

This one is for the Girls. First, do girls like guys who are about 6' tall? Do you find them attractive? Second, insted of telling you about my face, I will just give you a picture. Its www.myspace.com/abebillionaire Its private but you will still see a picture. I have been told I have a good personality. But that was my mom. And I wear long sleeved shirts all year s that a turn off? Just flat off tell no sugar coating just yes and no

yes, girls normally go for taller guys. i find tall guys attractive because they would be able to beat somebody up if i was about to get kidnapped or something. i can't get your myspace page to come up at all (it says your membership has been cancelled). anyway, no, long sleeved shirts all year are not a turn off. do you wear them every single day? that would be weird in the summer. it also kind of depends on where you live. i live in texas, so guys wear t-shirts pretty much year round. gives them a chance to show off some muscle :) haha, anyway, the fact that you correctly punctuated and spelled this question makes me think that you are quite the smart one, and that's definitely a turn on for most girls.

I'm taking a poll and I'm curious what people think the most spoken language is. Don't search the site or look at other people's answers and see. I want what YOU think.

are you asking about the most widely spoken language? that would be mandarin chinese. but english is the lingua franca... language of trade. a lot of people speak english, but more speak mandarin chinese.

hey! i need a funny monologue for a 14 year old! thank yoU! =]

check out a book called "the broke diaries." i don't know the author, but my friend is doing a monologue from that book. it's so funny. it's about this girl that is completely broke and has no money for food and stuff. you can probably find it at books-a-million or hastings or wal-mart or target or barnes & noble or anywhere.

15/f
I like my brother's friend (17 years old), and he's really nice to me (says things like "You're magic" and "You're on fire") and he always opens my doors.

But he doesn't look at me much (unless he's talking to me)...even when he's sitting directly across from me, or when it's just me, my brother, and him. When I point something out to my brother, he looks at where I point but doesn't look at me.

By the way, he's very outgoing.

So, why doesn't he look at me? I'm not sure if he hates or likes me. And, could he like me?

i think he does like you. i've had guys that liked me that would talk to me and not make eye contact at all. it drives me nuts. if he does like you, he probably just likes you so much that he's nervous. good luck :)

im in yearbook and im doin a story about embarrassing moments and i have this picture that has a girl falling and 2 people laughin at her wat is a good caption or quote for it

i'm the yearbook editor this year, and my staff has trouble with captions like these. i tell them to go talk to the person and get as much info as you can about the picture (take the picture and a spiral with you). get a quote from the person. since i can't see exactly what's happening in the picture right now, i'll make something up... Lightening up the mood for Person 1 and Person 2, Girl That Fell Down trips on ___(what she tripped on)___ during ___(what time of day, ie: lunch, second period...)___ at ___(where it happened)___. "Quote from girl," says Girl. of course, you would name WHO it is, WHAT is going on, WHEN it happened, WHERE it happened, and maybe even WHY it happened. so, if she tripped on a backpack at lunch and spilled her food all over the cafeteria, you could put... Lightening up the mood for Person 1 and Person 2, Girl That Fell Down trips on a backpack during lunch in the cafeteria, spilling her food. "Quote from girl," says Girl That Fell Down. hope this helped!

Well I wrote on the fabric bookover and it leaked through I guess and got on my book. It was in sharpie. Is there anything that could get it out?

hmm, since the textbook is probably going to be plastic-y or smooth, i would say try to rub it with your finger first. sometimes that will help it come off. also, if you put rubbing alcohol on a q-tip and go to town on it, it should work. i've had to do that before because somebody wrote in sharpie on a laminated sheet of paper and i had to get it off. you might even want to try nail polish remover. there are tons of products that you can get and try, but don't get anything that will bleach the cover of the book. good luck :) by the way, last year a blue pen exploded in my backpack all over my math textbook and it got all over the pages, but when we turned books in at the end of the year, my teacher never noticed. don't sweat it too much if it won't come out.

so i was just wondering. what do you look for in the opposite sex? like, for guys, do yu like preppy or sporty grls, etc. and for grls, do you like jocks or nerdy-ish, etc. and describe yourself, too. i'm just curious what people look for. thx!

ooh, this will be a fun question to answer :) i'm 15/f. in guys, i don't really go for the jock type at all, and i don't really go for the nerds... i go for the popular geeks. what i mean by this is, they're smart (and may be in a few nerdy clubs or band or something) but they are easy going, make friends easily, and everybody loves them. i'm a popular geek, too... i get good grades but i'm friends with a lot of different people in the school. like, i'm editor of the yearbook, which is probably nerdy, but i know everybody in the school because i'm on the yearbook staff. my clothing style is kind of weird. not anything outrageous, and not abercrombie. just in between. jeans and a t-shirt for me. but i also dress in what i call "piano player" clothing. i've been playing piano for 9 years, so the clothes that i wear when i perform (which allow me to look nice but also be able to play) i've kind of incorporated into my every day wardrobe. like, one day i'll wear a random t-shirt and jeans, and the next day i'll wear a button-up and a blazer and jeans. i kind of look for the same kind of flexibility in guys... you know, they look good in plain clothes and in nice clothes. also, because i'm a musician, i look for guys that are also musicians... not necessarily the rocker boy, but more as one of those that is kind of wise beyond his years. people have called me wise beyond my years since i was in the fourth grade, so i guess that's why. if you've ever read the laura ingalls wilder books, then you'll know about how she wrote about how her father had a twinkle in his eye, and i kind of look for that basically. and also, they have to have a dry sense of humor like i do. :) hope i helped!

Hey, can anyone give me some good brands that makes basses. Something realatively cheap though. Like from 200-300

fender would be my top pick, but there's also ibanez and yamaha and stuff. the fender jazz basses can get pricey, but if you just want a standard bass it shouldn't be too much.
