ok im 15 years old, and im bout 5'3 i weigh 100 pounds even, and im a size 0. but sumhow i always think im fat! my friends r like "your not fat, stop saying that" i mean yea im not the most self-confident person.. but i dont see why my weight bothers me so much. i dont have like rolls or ne thing. but im constantly talking about how i want to lose weight. yet i know im not fat... but at the same time i convince myself i am. i think it has to do with my x boyfriend, b/c he called me fat as a joke once, but since then.. ive been really concious about it. i dont know wut to do. or how i can stop being so obsessive about my weight and just my personality towards it in general....ne suggestions? thankx

When you live your whole life and never think you are fat, and then all of a sudden someone tells you that your fat, even if its a joke, it kind of sets your self esteem back a notch. When your ex joked about your weight it made you obviously think about it. The comment was something new to you. Have confidence in yourself and know that your not fat. Forget about what he said to you.

(14-f) Okay..i met this guy ova tha summa...n we r real g0od friendz..well i am crushin 4 his older brother big time !! hes a junior(im a freshman) and he can drive..well last night he came ova to my house n it was me him my friend steph & one of his friendz...well we were hangin out n stuff n it was SOO AWESOME !he has a g/f but they r sorta...ech right now...they r both confused n yeah but anywayz...i like him alot n last night we hugged n stuff..n today i was tlakin to my mom n she said that since my friend Steph wont be in town tomarrow i should call up th guy i like n ask him if he wantz ta go see tha movie Saw with me tomarrow...just as friendz...i like him so much..n i would pay for myself n stuff so it would be as friendz but it would be so nice to hang out wit him like just us !! n my mom REALLA approves of him n yeah...my mom n sisters n stuff think i should call n ask him but wit tha phone im SOO NERVOUS !!! By the way you are writing it sounds to me like you should not be dating at all. You have no morals considering the fact that he has a girlfriend already, you are still pursuing this boy. Grow up a little and find your own guy dont depend on someone elses chances are he will use you anyway.

ok ive been really sick lately! ive been outta school all week and im really sick anyway my parents think im ready to go back to school tomorrow but im not i feel terriable seriously i feel like a bus ran me over no joke!how can i convince my parents im not ready to go back! the thing is they wnt take me to the doc so i dunno wuts wrong wit me n sum grl in my class had mono! how can i convince them to let me stay home? thanx [[bLonDii]] (link)

If you feel like you got hit by a bus then its more likely you could be lacking in vitamins and minerals. I would take a vitamin suppliment for this. A major symptom of mono is a very high temp and extreme redness in the back of your throat. If you are throwing up either your pregnant or you have something wrong with your stomach you seriously need to go to a doctor.

ok well me and this guy like each other. but im afraid to do anything about it because well, he is a bit... faster w/ girls than i am comfortable w/. and he also does drugs and drinks and im straightedge. so i dont know if it would work out to well. he said hes quitting smoking and drinking but i highly doubt it. i really like this kid and i cant seem to get him out of my head but i dont know what to do. opposites attract. You may not like what he does but it is also possible that he may not like how straightedged you are. Compromise.

i am at my wits end as to what to do circumstances are such that i may not be able to get my kids that much for christmas i know that christmas is more than gifts so if that is your advice thanks but my kids are use to gifts for christmas i am sure i will be able to figure something out but any suggestions would be helpful thanks this is really getting me depressed (link)

I completly understand your situation. There is not much advice a person can give, considering that kids always exspect gifts at christmas time. However sometimes you can find really cheap toys and such things that are good quality at dollar general or even at a bargain outlet dont be depressed it happens to everyone.

I am no stranger to the behaviour of most guys. Very sexual, like the jokes about sex but I have a slight problem, I don't know how to react. I have a few guys that are bothering me at this time I will explain. Well this boy called karl right he's 17 and i'm 14, well basically he wants sex and he keeps pestering me he tried to touch me up and I don't know what to do. Some boys just fancy me and I can take that. There's this other boy called Steve who's 16 but he thinks i'm going to go out with him and tries to get me to cheat on my boyfriend and his girlfriend which gets me in trouble with his girlfriend. Another boy I don't see but he's really nice, prob is he calls me all these names and keeps asking me out. A little younger boy who's a few months younger than me is asking me to strip i don't know how to answer these there a no but how do I say that assertively? (link)

Heres a question for you. Why are these "boys" asking you these questions in the first place. Dont get me wrong guys can be a bit to overly sexual. However these types of guys dont exsist everywhere you turn, a girl such as yourself usually hangs out with them and carries on in a sexual manner along with them. My advice to you is to tell someone if it bothers you that much. And if a guy does not stop when you say no then that is considered sexual harassment and you should press charges. Ignore hormone driven insecure males.

Your friend is smart for working so much, shows that she is work oriented. As for you maybe you should find some new friends to hang out with. Your entire social life can not be based on one person.

okay recently i had this boyfriend who i thought was my everything. well everything was apparently nothing at all when i kissed someone else so now i am broken up with my boyfriend and the other guy my parents never want me to see the other guy again but we both really like eachother. We arent going out right now bwcause neither one of us want a relationship. Oh yeah and i have liked this other guy for about a year.So i have liked him b4 i met my boyfriend. Judging by your lack of good wording I am finding it hard to see that you are even ready to have a relationship of any kind. It is clear that you have no idea what love is and you should go back to being the little girl that you are.

I am having a hard time meeting people at the university I go to, and I'm not sure why. My friends say I walk too fast and that I'm unapproachable because I don't always speak first. I am a little shy, but I would really like to make some friends because most of the people I know recently dispersed to schools in other states/cities. I do talk to people when I can, but it just doesn't seem to develop into a friendship where we could hang out anywhere but school. Is there anything more I can do? Thanks. (link)

Self esteem plays a huge part in making new friends and keeping them. If you are confident about yourself, then everyone around you will be confident in you as well. However dont be afriad to make the first move I know it can be scary but just trust your gut. Join some clubs as well especially something that you are interested, you will then have a higher chance of meeting someone like yourself.
