how do you keep your poms from not becoming dead and misshapen? Mine are all poofy and round now but the older girls with old poms have really wrinkly ugly small not round ones, and I dont want mine to look like them. Also, what is the differenece beetween pom poms, poms, and pom pons, if there is a difference? I'm a cheerleader if you can't tell, but I also wonder, how does colorguard use poms? I hear they use them in competition. Are theirs any different?
pom poms, poms, and pom pons are essentially the same thing, people just call them different things. they're generally just called poms though. my school doesn't have colorguard (we have baton and flag twirlers), but colorguard will usually do a pom routine with the same kind of poms. they also twirl rifles and flags too. i've also seen drill teams do pom routines with the same kind of poms. theirs might be a little bit smaller, but the drill team at my school uses poms all the time.
Well when I was walking home from school today I found this chip thingy on the ground. It's blue and on the front it say San Disk and 1.0 GB. Is it some kind of computer memory card chip? If it is how can I use it? Will it be useful to me? And can it like help with computer gaming like reduce lag?
oh, it's a camera memory card! that's a cool thing to find. and the 1 gb ones are pretty expensive. if you have a digital camera, or if somebody else does, stick it in there and see if it has any pictures on it. it's used to store pictures on a camera, so i doubt it could be used with computer gaming. some new computers and laptops have a spot on them where you can put in memory cards from cameras, so you might try that too. you can store documents on it if you really need to- in all essence, it's like a removable storage disk or flash drive. pretty cool thing to find.
I'm going to homecoming in 2 weeks, (yes our homecomingt is kinda late) and im a freshman, and ive never been to a real dance before becuase i use to go to a private school wear they didnt have dances. I have a date, but I just dont know what to excpet, like how to dance and grind on stuff. Any got some tips/pointers. thanku!!!
well, since you've never been to a real dance before, let me give you some tips. it will be fun if you make it fun! also, grinding is considered trashy. sorry. i mean, if you want to, that's fine with me, but that's definitely frowned upon. and if you're all over guys, that's also considered trashy (once again, sorry). (i'm 16/f by the way, if it helps.) what to expect... at first things will be kind of slow, and nobody will be dancing, but like an hour into it, it will be crazy. just sing and dance all crazy like! don't ever stand still, it makes it not fun. and also, it doesn't really matter if you slow dance or not, or who you slow dance with. dancing with just a friend is definitely fine. the last formal i went to, i slow danced with five different guys and it was okay, so i'm just letting you know. dances are like my favorite thing in the world. the energy is so amazing. just hang out with a big group of friends so you'll always have somebody to talk to or whatever.

if they're freckles from the sun (as in you don't have them in the winter but you have them in the summer) then you can make them go away by not going outside, or squeezing lemon juice on them (i've only heard this and never tried it). my freckles are from the sun, but i actually like mine so i've not tried to get rid of them. they're cute :)

man i really want a lower back tatoo but ppl say you cant get one till youre like 17, but man i see chics with tats' all the time and they aint 17 they're like 15 or 16! is there any places where they'll give you a tat' BEFORE you are 17?

if you're under a certain age (where i live it's 18, but it differs from place to place), then you can get a tattoo with parental consent. they have to sign this form thing. and of course, it depends on how big your tattoo is, color or black, that type of thing. the best thing to do is get a picture online or draw something that you want and take it to them, and get an estimate then.
for a graph for a science class, whats the diff between making a key and a legend?
it's the same thing. normally it's called a map legend, though some call it a key.
Does the amount of times the guy ejulactulates determine the ammount of kids? like if he only does once you will have one kid..if he does twice you will have twins/2 kids etc..

get plenty of sleep, don't eat any dairy products, drink lukewarm water, eat healthy. humming helps, and make sure your posture is pretty good. good luck :)
im one of those chics who are deathly pale and i really want some color, but i dont want to have to pay for the fake bake tanning beds so i bought jergens tanning lotion and the face lotion but im afraid to use it because i dont want to come out lookin orange after the 1st or 2nd time i use it.
does anyone know if it really works? and ive also heard that it has a really bad oder so is there any other products that doest have an oder?
jergens worked very well for me. i think the problem with turning orange is your skin tone's undertone- most people are either pink or yellow. pink people burn in the sun, and yellow people tan. (i'm yellow.) so it might not work as well for you if you are a pink skin tone. it doesn't smell bad, i don't think. go ahead and try it every other day like after you get out of the shower, and see if it turns you weird colors. and if it does, there's good news- it fades quickly. but, here's some advice: wash your hands after you put it on. i forgot to wash my hands afterward a few times and it collected in between my fingers and made the insides of them a little bit darker. nobody except me could tell, but it looked a little odd.
What does it mean when people go, "Hey you with the face"? I know an example is "Hey you with the hair" meaning someone with a cool haristyle is being called but for face does it mean your facial expression (smiles,frowns,etc.) or troubling features like acne. Someone said that to me and said hi but I'm wondering if that "hi" was a fake one to make me feel good. So if it was my look I'm good but if it was my face I'm gonna ignore people who says stuff like that to me =/.
um, everybody has a face. that's why it's funny- that's irony. usually you would say, "hey you with the green shirt!", because that would single out one person, but if you say "hey you with the face!" then that's not singling out anybody. irony people, irony.
okay so i'm 15/f and i live in new jersey. My bf who i've had sex with once so far is 20. I don't want to hear about how i shouldn't be dating someone older then me b/c i love him, and yes i do know what love means. My question is he doesn't what to have sex any more cuz he thinks its illegal. What if i give consent, doesn't that make it fine? and if it is illegal, what is the punishment?
it is illegal, no matter if you want to. it's because he is an adult and you are still classified as a child with the law. even if you don't press charges, if your parents find out, they can because they are still your guardians. and chances are, most parents would press charges. your boyfriend is right. it would be fine if you gave consent and were 18 at least, but since you aren't 18, he could be sent to jail. if anybody presses charges, that is. because even though you both were cool with it, that is statutory rape. and he would probably be classified as a sex offender. so you can see where he wouldn't want a criminal record here.
Hey, I absolutely LOVEEEE this band and I recently found out that they are coming to my town, the only problem is I dont know if my parents will let me and my friend go. At times, they can me strict and a little protective....Are there any suggestions any of you can think of to persuade my parents to let me and my friend go see the best band in the whole entire world....lol

buy the tickets yourself. see if your friend's parents would want to take you two, and then buy their tickets for them (in case they don't like the band). or you could buy your parents tickets so they can come too. you have to show them that you're responsible enough to handle yourself, so buying your own ticket is a good start to that. how old are you? if you're 14 or 15 or even older, say to them, "i'm (age), i'm mature enough to handle myself at this concert." also, if you think your parents would like whatever kind of music it is, try to reel them in with that. but for the next few weeks, really try to show your parents that you're responsible. clean up after yourself, do your homework without being told, et cetera. and if it doesn't work out, there's always a next time- trust me. one of your favorite bands will always be on tour, so it's very likely that you will be able to catch a lot of shows. here's a little advice: i have a job and i make good grades in school, so as a surprise, my dad bought me tickets to go see the smashing pumpkins. if you show your parents that you can be responsible, believe me, they will be nicer to you! good luck, and i hope you get to go :)

i guess you could wear sandals, though it depends on what kind they are. but i personally think it looks better when you wear tennis shoes or flats :)
So we have this science project in Chemistry. The type of projects that go to like the little science fairs and stuff. We can do it with a partner if we want but we don't have to. But the only partner work is the actual experiment. We have to write the papers separately.
Well, I'm always at the school an hour and a half before school starts so I can do the experiment I plan to do at school in the mornings since I have absolutely no time after school. And I'm the kind of person that has to measure out everything and stuff to make sure everything is precise. (Slightly OCD there).
Now that I've said those couple of things:
I asked Bailey if she wanted to do the project with me on Friday without really thinking. She's a smart girl, but very pyro and lazy in her own ways. And she doesn't really have any ideas to input into the experiment other than something relating to fire...and using something including a fire for an experiment isn't a good idea with her. She'll burn something down I swear.
Right now I'm contemplating over whether I do or don't want a partner for the project. Should I work with a partner or not? If I should, should I suck it up and work with Bailey or find someone that I'll be more compatible working together with? If not, how should I tell her NICELY that I want to work alone (i.e. excuses that can get me out of it).

i can totally identify with you. it sounds like you would be much better off and much less stressed if you just did the experiment yourself. just go up to her and be like, "bailey, i'm sorry, but i am too stressed out to do a group project right now. i wish i could, but i really have too much going on and i doubt i would be able to do my part in it." it's ok to sugar coat it. you could even bring in the parentals excuse- that your parents don't want you to, or that your religion says that you can't work with fire, or something. i'm joking a little bit about the religion thing, but parents are a great excuse. but here's a problem- when is the project due? if it's due in less than two weeks, i think it might be too late to switch partners. because then it might put bailey in a bind to get the project done. that's just kind of a cordial way to look at it. but no matter how you look at it, the only part you would have to do with a partner is the experiment. you are basically doing the whole thing by yourself anyway, so it seems much simpler for you to do it by yourself. i hope you figure out what you want to do :)

which color did you buy? i like them both. anyway, if you got the blue one, i'd go with navy leggings and flats. if you got the green one, i'd go with black leggings and flats. i've found that white leggings make your legs look bigger than they actually are, and dark colored leggings are more flattering. that looks like a good dress to wear a headband with, and flats too. since it looks like it's about mid-thigh, i wouldn't go for high heels with it (kitten heels are ok) because i think it looks weird for some reason.
Im starting a college based training course on monday and on the letter it says smart casual, no jeans or sportswear, but ive seen many other girls wearing jeans and stuff there.
My question is.. im going shopping tomorrow morning with my friend to get clothes to wear, and i really dont know whether to get jeans or black trousers.. because if i get black trousers and everyones wearing jeans its waisted money, so should i get jeans and then ask on monday if i do need the black trousers and get some that evening?
Also what smart/casual tops, t-shirts should i get to wear with the jeans or trousers, (either way jeans or trousers i want to wear smart/casual tops)
