okay i know that im pretty. but it only really shows when i get back from school (like for some weird reason i look best after school then when i did in it) and in the summer. i have wavy blonde hair and blue eyes and im skinny. i have a rash thing tho on my arm that i so need to get rid of. (any ideas?) i work out so im not fat or anything but like i never had a boyfriend and im like 13. i know people havent had bfs who are older then me but still... and like i desperatly need a bf becausee people at school think im a lez. which.. im so not. im really shy at school so maybe thats why i cant get a bf? out side of school im really loud and stuff && guys lovee me from other towns and ask me out all the time (i turn them down) but in school. no. i am so quite. and im popular like with people in other schools but.. not mine. so. yeah. i wanna be popular at mine =[

Im not sure about your rash, but being pretty isnt all it takes to get a bf. Having a great personality plays a HUGE part. If your shy, guys probably think your not interested or don't notice you. You don't need a bf until your ready and found a guy you liked, and you dont have to get one to convince people you arent a lesbian. So be a bit more outgoing, and be flirty with guys. A little goes a long way.

Be flirty! Laugh and smile at their jokes, stand closer to them than you do to other people (not overdoing personal space though) touch their arm or hand when your talking to them, etc. This should send out the message that you like them.

First of all I apologize for this question but I'm desperate.
My school is having a Sadie Hawkins dance on Friday. I'm going by myself because my boyfriend doesn't live nearby. The theme is "celebrity couples" so I'm either going to be a regular celebrity or divorced celebrity. The problem is, I don't look like anyone famous.

Since you don't have a date, you could pair up with two other girls and be charlies angels (i guess its not a couple, but it could still work) Or, you can find a friend who is going with a guy and go with them as three's company.

Go for it and ask him out to see that new movie, or maybe find a band the guy likes and snag some tickets for it, or just ask him out for coffee or something. Be casual and flirty, and Im sure he'll say yes. Getting your sister to talk to him might work, but it also makes you look a little immature that you can't ask him yourself.

Okay, I'm 16 years old. Not sexually active or anything like that. So I have always been freaked out by even thinking about having to go to the gyno, but i don't know if my mom is making me go to the gynocolegist, but I was just wondering if you HAVE to. I know you would have to if you had like something that ran in your family that you had to, but I heard that your parents can't make you because your under 18. & that it's your choice if you want to go or not. You legally do not have to go, and it is not imperative for your health (especially if you are not sexually active) to go. But things are different, because your mother can "make" you go, I guess. She is probably just trying to make sure you are healthy, so humor her. It wont take long and you can ask any questions you wanted to know but were afraid to ask your mom.

Well...there is this boy in my class who picks on me everyday.He only makes fun of me and not the other girls in the class.I laugh when he makes fun of me but on the inside it hurts me!and one of my friends encourages him and that hurts me too.What should I do???

Usually, when a guy picks on a girl, it means they like you. But there is a difference between that and bullying. So next time, be straight forward. When he makes fun of you, tell him you don't like it and to please stop. Be sincere. Hopefully, he will stop. But if he persistes, privately talk to a teacher or parent or adult. Bullying causes many problems and shouldn't be taken lightly.

20/f. I have become a part of my fiance's pseudo family and I'm having a bit of trouble deciding what I should call his parents. I'm not sure how old they are, but I would guess that they're in their late 50's to early 60's. I stay with my fiance at their house for a few months during the summer and during vacations from school. I've resorted to not calling them by name at all and even though this is possible, it sometimes gets very awkward. Since I'm part of the family, Mr. and Mrs. "Lastname" seems way too formal, but calling them by their first names takes away the respect that I feel I must give them, especially for taking me in after my parents ditched me and for being significantly older and old-fashioned than what I'm used to from my parents. They're like grandparents to me. Calling them Mom and Dad just doesn't seem right until I am actually married to their son. When talking about them with other people I just say my fiance's Mom and Dad. Should I just continue not calling them by name? What do you think I should call them? Thanks. (link)

I think you should call them by their first names. Your all adults, so Mr. and Mrs. doesn't seem needed. Or you could call them Mr. and Mrs. so and so and see if they say something like "Oh, Call me (insert name here)" if not, just stick to that.

Um, I guess Im popular lol. I go to a small school, so its not much of a popularity contest.
I dont think theres one way to be popular. Im just myself, and that works for me. People can see thru you if you are fake, and you will just look like a fool.
Be yourself. People will be attracted to a confident girl with a great personality. Popularity is about having a lot of friends, so always be kind, funny, and caring. Trust me, thats the only way. You could join clubs or groups to meet more people, and having an active social life is a great way.

I can't help it.. when I get hungry, I HAVE to eat. Sometimes I OVEReat and sometimes I UNDEReat. Is this REALLY bad? Or will it change? It's been like this for like 3 years. I'm 15/f. I'm 5'1". And I weigh 117. Am I over/under weight? Any weighs to help me change my eating habits, if they're bad..?

You dont sound overweight or underweight, but your eating habits are very poor. You must have a great metabolism though.
Try eating healthier, because your diet will really hurt you in the long run. And eating healthier will make you feel better and look better.

my 15th b-day is tomorrow
i am having a party on friday @ my dads house
and he ended up goin outta town last minute; so my big sis said she would "chaperone"
she just turned 21
it was gonna be just 4 girls; now im havin guys come over too
my question is; do i need to have like tons of food out? or make some if ppl get hungry?
or like have movies out or just wing it?

Have a decent amount of food out. Order something like two large pizza's, and have munchies always available like chips, pretzels, and even a candy bowl. Have different sodas and water for those who dont like soda.
And desert! Lol cake is amazing....

My bedroom use to be upstairs,down the hall from my parents and across from my sisters room, they shared one.
Im the oldest daughter by the way.
but then my parents had this guy add a room onto the house, and its on the floor below.
Any tips to help me sleep down there, for some reason im scared because the front door and back porch are like right there and someone could easly break in. and its different, because i dont have a tv.
so for the past 2 months shes been sleeping on a couch in my parents room. Pathetic i know..

Make your new room as homey as possible. Add warm touches like pillows and stuffed animals. Get thick curtains so it kind of secludes you from the outside. If you don't have a tv, use a radio to drown out any outside sounds. You could have any pets you have sleep in your room to make you feel safe. Or you could get an electric fake fish tank. It really calms me down. it makes water noise and illuminates fake fish. Or the good old fashioned nightlight always works like a charm :)

I always feel so ugly. Whenever I see the pretty girls at my school I just feel all bad and wish I would be as pretty as them. I'm always so self concious about the way I look now. I don't know why i'm like this. I used to be so confident and didn't care how I look. Will I ALWAYS be like this?

Its normal for teenagers to feel ugly sometimes. We all have low-self esteem or confidence sometimes. Its normal. Once you learn to accept your body, you'll be fine. Try getting dolled up! Do something special with your hair, try a little makeup, and wear a cute shirt. You'll feel ten times better about yourself, and guys love girls who are confident.

Talk to this girl in private. Tell her nicely that you are flattered she likes you, but that you are COMPLETELY straight and don't plan on changing. Tell her its nothing personal, its just how you are.
Its the only way not to lead her on.

Listen to your heart. All people have quirks and flaws, but is she a all over good person? Is she nice to you and your family? Does she make your dad happy? Does she make you happy? Can you see her in your life permanantly?
If you dont like her and your dad gets mad, just talk to him. Tell him you need more time to adjust, and you just aren't sure about her. If your calm and polite, Im sure he'll understand.
Try getting to know her. Go shopping together, go to shows, exercise together, do something! The more time you spend together, the better you'll both get to know each other. Suggest a girls night with her, and your sister.
Whatever happens, be positive and look for the best in people. Im sure you'll find something great.

I am in the same messed up triangle you are. Cept Im the best friend. It will be hard for her, but she will somehow understand.
Remember the saying: Chicks before Dicks (lol funny) Dont go for this guy if it will damage you and your friend's relationship, because she'll always be there for you, but this guy won't. Ask for her blessing, and tell her if she is really agaisnt it, you wont be with the guy. Its hard, but it really is the right thing to do.
Tell her its not personal on the guys part, but some people just click and others dont. Try your best to be sympathetic and supportive and kind. There is no easy way to do this.

ok ive had a crush on this guy and i didnt even know i was that obvious but obviously he found out, and he told one of my good friends whos practically neighbors with him that he didnt like me and only liked blonde girls. now im confused.. because i didnt even tell that many people, and the people i told, like more than half of them didnt even know the kid (they were in different teams) and the others i know wouldnt tell. otherwise.. how would he have known? also how would i act tomorrow? my mom said to act like myself but its kinda awkward since now i know. should i just act like nothing happened? im new at this, lol. like last year the same thing happened too, only i knew i was being really obvious, so it ended up with the guy knowing i liked him too. this is kinda a.. um flexible answer so just give me the best advice you got for my situation. To answer your first question, someone told him or one of his friends etc, or mabye he just noticed you flirting with him or something. Thats not important.
Tomorrow, act like yourself. Dont bring it up if he doesnt, but don't deny it. Act like it didnt bother you, and it wont. And if he only likes blondes, he sounds like a guy you dont want to be with.
