Q: On MySpace, I want to add pictures, but I can't, because all the picture files are too large. (The size limit is 600k.) MySpace offered a resizing program (Irfanview) to download for free. I did download it, but I'm having trouble learning how to use it, and how to resize my files. Can someone help me with this?
it might not be because of a "resizing" problem. it might be with the file the picture is saved under. you might want to check if the picture is saved under a bitmap. bitmaps tend to take more space, so i would suggest you save under jpegs and gifs. if that doesn't help, regarding the program, it might be easier if you used adobe photoshop or paint to resize your pictures. if you use adobe photoshop, just go to image > image size and just plug in the numbers and watch the picture size change, save as, and you're done. you might have to do this a couple times before you reach a size less than 600K. if you're using paint, go to image > stretch/skew, and in the "stretch" boxes, plug in a number under 100 to make your picture smaller. you don't have to insert a number into the "skew" boxes. but you can try it out to see what it does. and that should do it! :D

Q: i really want to lose weight on my arms and my stomach and my legs any ideas please help.!!
basically, to work on your arms, pushups are a big deal. you might want to try working with weights. but if you're not comfortable, it isn't absolutely necessary. for your stomach, crunches and situps will do just fine. side pushups are good too. as for your legs, do some lunges for your thighs and to work everything. go running or do an active sport! get every part of your body moving. (swimming is an especially good sport to tone up muslces - working in the water by swimming the different strokes work all your muslces) don't forget a healthy diet with lots of calcium! and remember to cut down on sodium (salt) and calories. & drink lots of water! g`luck! Q: I have always had love handles...all of my life. My dad's family all has them. I can NOT stand them. I am self conscious in bikinis, tight shirts, everything. I have tried cross crunches, i eat healthy, cardio....everything. This is my workout every day:
30 Min. Treadmill
15 Min Strength training on arms(i have very weak upperbody strength)
50 crunches
25 cross crunches on each side
15 Min. Indoor rowing boat machine thing
I eat healthy as i can, but we are always running out of fresh vegatables and fruits, and i have asked my mom to get more but they spoil quickly. Sooo...i do really try geting rid of them but it's not working! Any tips? Please!! i rate.
you've been doing great! this is probably a genetic factor, but we can fix that (: first, try strengthening your lower back. strengthening your abdominal muscles is a key step in reducing your love handles. strengthening the muscles in your lower back balances the strength in your torso. try this exercise: lie on your stomach, lift your legs off the ground so that your knees are not touching the ground and keeping your legs straight, start "flutter kicking" as if you were swimming. do this for about 15 seconds and rest. repeat it twice and you'll be strenghthening your back muscles!
since you've already been working on your abs, keep up the good work! and most important of all, cardiovascular exercise! playing basketball, running, and other active, intense sport outdoors would be great! if you choose to run around your neighborhood, try running hills. the steeper the better! on the food side, cut down on sodium (salt) and drink lots of water. also, losing calories is a big part of losing those love handles. make sure you burn off more calories than you eat. and watch your calorie intake. you're doing great! keep up the good work!

Q: So I haven't started my period in nearly two months. It can't be stress, diet, or lack of exercise. I exercise, eat right, and I am happy-as-can-be. What could be possible things that could be wrong?

well, first of all, you have nothing to be worried about. this is nothing serious. it takes about 2 years for a girl's menstrual cycle to develop a regular cycle. usually, your periods will come every 28 days, or basically, a month. but within the first 2 years when you start menstruating, your body has not developed a regular cycle yet. you may experience times when your period is late or longer than usual, its normal. there are other times where your period can skip months, get two periods almost right after each other, or experience heavy and/or light bleeding alternatively. this is all normal and happens because of the changing hormone levels. you're absolutely fine & there's nothing to worry about! take care!

Q: OKay... im 14 years old and im a girl.. okay i know the urethur(sp) is were your pee comes out of and its like a little knob.. right?? but isnt that you clitorus(sp) also....
your urethra is where your urine comes out of. its connected to your urinary bladder. on the other hand, your clitoris is the little knob above the opening of your vagina.

you could check out www.wikipedia.com and type in what you're looking for, in this case "clitoris" and "urethra" and see where they are located. happy learning!

Q: Ok some of ya'll may remember that problem of mine. well turns out all of you were right and so was I, something had happened and his mom wouldn't let him talk or something like that. He called Friday and was like I'm soooo sorry I haven't called baby! ANd then went on with what happened. So We are ok now I think..... He hasn't called today but I'm ok with that because we are basically the ideal "couple" at school. Because we never get in fights unles its something horrible lol, and we love and trust each other completely so why throw that away? lol well thanks for all your help!

Q: uuugh i think i gained weight since summer started, even though i've been more active. i was trying on jeans the other day and they seem smaller from the end of school. its basically only my lower stomach/sides and my upper thighs. everytime i try to eat healthier and not as often and excercise i can never stick to i t and its soo frustrating because i try on clothes and i feel like nothing looks good. i went running one morning but it felt weird because im only 13 and the only people who run/walk in my neighborhood are like, old. i reallly want to look better for when i go back to school, but idk how. what are some tips that you know work, and pleeease be specific! thank youu :)
i think i gain weight since summer started too (: and i play lots of sports! well, one thing for sure - exercise. it already seems that you've been doing plenty of that already. i can never stick to my exercises or anything, so i know how you feel. if you decided to stick to running around your neighborhood, try to run hills, the steeper the better. if you don't want to do running, try out some active sports you like. you could also try to do aerobic exercises. such as sit ups, crunches, push ups, side push ups, etc. especially exercises that work your abs. doing lunges will work your quadriceps, aka thighs. an excellent way to tone your muscles doing aerobic exercises. other than exercising, eating healthy is also a big factor. i would advise eating yogurt daily. it's a great source of calcium and filling. try to cut down on fatty foods, junk foods, and candy. and that's about it! if you work on that, you'll look gorgeous! (: have fun!

good songs. always a question i ask myself too (: usually, i just try to go search for music. try a couple websites. i would suggest www.singingfish.com and maybe try out the random searches and see what comes up or bands that might interest you. you can always try www.mtv.com or a radio site and they'll give you a list of songs they play on the radio. (: search around for what's best for you!

Q: Hey,
My hair is just past shoulderlength and Ive decided that i want to grow it to about the middle of my back.
I was just wondering if anyone knew any general facts (like the average rate of hair growing or how long you reckon it would take) and tips for growing hair quicker and healthier.
Ive heard that horse shampoo is an effective way to grow hair quicker but I want to be certain before I go buy some :-s :-)

well, since you already have some advice on this. i'll just add on, a way to get your hair growing quicker is humidity. when you finish washing your hair and its wet, wrap your hair in a towel nice and tight to trap the water. you can leave it there as long as you like, but humidity makes your hair grow faster. good way to get your hair to grow quicker without spending it on any hair growth products (:

Q: can anyone help me find a backround for my site?
personally, i would go to either photobucket or another picture uploading host and go to search and type in something you're looking for. (i.e.: the color, object, etc.) then you can upload it to any picture uploading host and take the link url and go to column settings and put the url into the "Page background image (URL)" box. and you're set! if you have more questions, feel free to ask!

Q: okay..this guy i like and he liked me too..is moving far away like to another state and we were gunna date but now that he's moving we're not going to obviously..what can i do to make myself get over him leaving?
well, have you considered the option of a long distance relationship? considering the fact that i'm in one right now. if you guys really want to date each other, it might be a really good option for you guys. but a relationship like this requires a lot of trust and communication. but, if you guys have talked about it, hanging out with friends will always help! just get out & meet new people =] you're bound to find the right guy for you! :D g`luck!

Q: When I shave my vagina, it is pokey even right after i shave, like how my legs get the next morning or so. It is also very itchy down there after that. How do I help this or prevent it?
if razors don't work as well as you would like, try using hair removal creams, such as veet, or any other products. you might want to try it out first to see if you're right for it. (: hope that helps!

Q: Are there any clothes that can make my shoulders look broader? Thanks =)
shoulder pads work. but if you're not comfortable very shoulder pads. clothes that fit you well work. sweather that are well fitting and about medium weight work as well. clothes with rounded necks or turtlenecks over v neck sweaters emphasize the shoulder area. but make sure to avoid clothes with a long v neck or clothes that make your neck look thinner. and there ya go! =]

Q: When ever I try to upload a userpic, it's always too big. I keep resizing it and resizing it on paint, and it keeps getting smaller and smaller, and it finally fits when it's too tiny. Does anyone know how do fix this, or another way to upload it? I make sure that i make the pics about the same size as other people's. It really annoys me. Haha.
you might want to check the file type that the picture is saved under. saving it under a bitmap requires more space. try saving the picture under jpeg or gif.

Q: my best friend gets rly jealous when guys think im hott. sometimes, she even tries to stop me from evr talking to them cuz shes jealous that they dont think shes hott, and she gets mad at me. One time online we were talkin to this guy we saw that day, and he thought i was hott, and my friend got mad and was like wouldnt let me see what she was sayin to him, and then she got kinda mad when he asked for my sn. wat should i do? i hate when shes mad at me, its really annoying.
if you haven't already tried talking to her about this, you should. and when you do, make sure you make her FEEL better about herself. if i was you, i would tell her that the friendship we have is more important that what guys think. have her tell you why she's been acting this way, but don't be too pushy. talking it out and making sure all the misunderstandings are cleared up should fix the problem (: and your friendship will be stronger than ever!

Q: well me and my boyfriend broke up and now i like this other guy. we have been hanging out alot and everything but i dont know if he likes me or not. he said he wants to make sure me and my ex are completely over with before anything happens then maybe. but now he acts totally different. like nothing could EVER happen. i asked him and he was like well we barely know each other we have to hang out more. what does this mean? should i give up or keep trying? thanks

Q: What are some good breathing excercises I could do on the alto sax or flute? I'm preparing solos and both require to play several chromatic like measures all of which are slured. I run out of breath too quickly. I know its impossible to slur 3 and a half lines, but I can't get past more than 3 measures. Thanks, will rate.
breathing excercises (: i'm in marching band and everyone is good at breathing cause we do it before every rehearsal. doing regular breathing exercises will definitely strengthen and expand your lung capacity. one of them, called the "blade hand" : form a circle with your mouth and open your throat. make your hand into a blade and place it in front of your mouth so it's dividing the air and breathe in for 4 counts. then breathe out for 4 counts and turn your hand so the palm of your hand is parallel to your face so you can feel the air coming out. the air should be warm. keep doing this exercise and then breathe in for 3 counts and out for 4. then in for 2 and out for 4 and in for 1 and out for 4. you can use whatever counts, but that's the usual. this exercise helps you with control. there is another effective breathing exercise that i don't know the name of. but start with your hands by your side and your legs shoulder length apart. take in 8 counts of breath while you raise your arms to the sky. (at 4 counts, your arms should be parallel to the ground) then breathe out for 8 counts while lowering your arms back down to your side. then breathe in for 10 counts and out for 10 counts (count 5 is where your arms will be parallel to the ground) and so on. then do 12 counts, then 16. and there you go! doing these exercises each day before practice will be effective. remember to take a break if you feel lightheaded! good luck with playing! :D

btw. these breathing exercises can be used with any instrument. i play flute and i find these effective (:

always wear something comfortable that you can actually move around in, other than that. anything is just fine (: have fun!

Q: When i was a kid in grade sckool hanging out with girls was pretty cool.Not that i "liked-liked" them or anything, i just liked the company.Now i go to an all guy's school for high school and seeing guys everywhere is a drag.I keep in touch with my old friends but most of them are busy.What can i do to balance my everyday life between hanging out with guys and girls.
your guy friends are your school should have a couple girl friends. get to know them and plan a "coed" party and meet new people. try to get to know everyone and you can introduce your girl friends too!
