Music: Music is life. I live by music. Punk is the best, but pop punk is alright sometimes...when it's more punk than pop (no avril, gc, etc.). A little art rock and classic is okay sometimes. Alternative and ska occasionally show up as well. just lately i've been watching less tv and listening to more music, and i'm so much happier than i was a few months ago. all i need is music. everything else can go die.

the rubber band idea sounds pretty good...but you DO need to get help. there are counselors that you can go to, and if you don't want to tell your parents, tell another trustworthy person with a car and swear them to secrecy. they can drive you to counseling. you just have to know that, even though it seems like it does...cutting doesn't help anything.

I'm not sure whether this beinglongs in activsm or not but I think that when the airplanes hit the twin towers on 9/11, the terroists actually thought what they were doing what the right thing to do. I know that they shouldn't have done it in such a destructive manner but isn't that what we're doing now? We're completely destroying Iraq and are we immature enough to say when we all realize that this was an idiotic thing to do, "Well, they started it!" Does anybody else agree with me?

i've heard milk is a no-no. it makes you produce more phlegm or mucus or something and makes your voice sound gooey (sorry, only way i could think to describe it!). yeah, and voice lessons are always an option.

your bmi (body mass index) is 22.1; here's how BMI stacks up... Below 18.5 is Underweight, 18.5 through 24.9 is Normal, 25.0 through 29.9 is Overweight, and

don't listen to her. she's obviously alot younger than you if you have a fiance'. That's it...don't encourage her. sooner or later she might see that bossing you around isn't working anymore, and she may stop.

does anyone know of a way to get an anti-depressent(i.e. Zoloft©) without going to see a doctor??? I need something along those lines but i can't tell my parents that i need an anti-depressent for certain reasons. My depression used to be just the common teenage cliche of {boredom + no life + no friends + girl troubles = depression}. Earlier this week i realized it was a much more serious problem when i was alone(drunk + depressed) and for some reason got to thinking that i dont want to live anymore.......So i went downstairs, got a knife from the kitchen, went back up to my room and proceeded to stab myself in the wrist numerous times. It bled all over the place for a while and then i turned really pale felt really cold and also a bit numb....then i just kinda zonked out. The next morning i woke up in a puddle of my own blood, and thats when i realized that i cant do this anymore. So yea my question remains is there any way to get an anti-depressent along the lines of zoloft or ya know something like it without seeing a doctor???
(p.s.) - anyone who says "you should tell your parents" gets a rating of a 1 and i automatically dont like you.... (link)

yeah...i doubt you can get zoloft without a prescription. just a question though...didn't your parents notice the blood everywhere, or the wounds in your wrist?
but yeah..anyway, i've heard that st. john's wort does work, and i think you can get that over the counter without a prescription. even if you were getting a prescription for an anti-depressant, i'd be hesitant, because in some cases it just makes it worse.

ignore the suicide kids. for your sake, and mine. You can't really get over it, but you can deal. Find things that make you happy, don't think about it ALL the time. Go on with your life. Find songs that make you happy, or whatever. All you can do is keep living, like they would want you to.

hey .. i have a makeup question. i have red hair and really light eyebrows an eyelashes (pretty much blonde) but i wanna wear mascara this year. im afraid that if i wear dark mascara - it would look bad against my eyebrows since they are so light and then my red hair. so have any suggestions about what I can do so it doesnt look too drastic? i'm just like you. i promise it won't look bad, i have invisible eyelashes, and when i wear black mascara, i look so much better. don't listen to the people who say it'll look bad...but if you don't like it...try dark blue or brown.
but black should work just fine.
