i have a problem reading school materials, i cannot read when i want to (there is a specific time i can read effectively like in the morning) and i cannot read for a long time. 1 or 2 things happen when i read, i either get distract and cannot continue to read due to the lack of concentration or when i read it for a long time nothing seems to come into my head and basically i read nothing even though i did.

So how do i get myself to read effectively and for a very long time? especially with biology and chemistry i know there are a lot of readings to do but then i cannot continue to read after 1 hour or 2. I need help bad because im falling behind and need to catch up with all this reading

ok get a good book that u like then go to ur room turn off all tv and radio stuff. If can lock door. Then just read. Start out with 3-5 pages then add more. Keep this up and it should help

For the past couple weeks or so, I've noticed that I am REALLY tired.

Even on nights when I sleep well, I tend to find myself in class struggling to stay awake or even falling asleep.

When I get home from school, I also find myself falling asleep even though I did not intend to take a nap.

Other than that, I generally feel fine other than headaches that feel like 'sleep headaches' - you know, the kind you get when you haven't slept.

I fall asleep around 10:30 at night and get up at about 6 every day, which seems like plenty of sleep.

Any idea why I may be feeling like this? Are there any medical concerns with this -- like could this be a symptom of an illness even though no others are present?

it could be stress or the lights in the school they make you tried. But get all the sleep u can. and work out any probs u have

14/f. jonathon, my best guy friend, has been acting like a jerk to me the past few weeks. i got mad about it, and we kind of stayed away from each other for a few days. he and i were really close before then and told each other everything. as soon as jonathon and i quit talking for awhile, sarah, my other best friend, started hanging around him and he apparently "replaced" me with her in the sense that he began to tell her everything and stuff (his "depressing" life story and the big part that i played in it). so last night jonathon and i resolved our issues, and he told me that there's no excuse for the way he's been treating me, but the only reason that he's been weird is that he has a major crush on me and kind of doesn't know how to act around me right now because he likes me but doesn't want to scare me off (we had talked about not dating anybody until high school, so even if we like each other we kind of vowed to just stay friends). so now things are kind of how they used to be (after we were "cool" again, he asked me to this big banquet for next year as friends and i said okay). now i'm hoping that things are going to be just the way they were before. but, i'm worried that he's replaced me with sarah as somebody to talk to. do y'all think that i'm overreacting? by the way, i don't like him in that way, he's just my best friend. do you think that maybe he started hanging around sarah more to make me jealous or something?

guys they like to be odd. dont worry as a friend he has not replaced u. he probly is not tring to make u jealous. just wait it out it will all work out

ok im 13/f and one of my friends have been "messing around" lately but i wont have sex with him without a condom. the problem is my mother stil thinks im a virgin. i dont know how to get birth control or condoms without my mom finding out. in the area i live in there is only 2 small gas stations around which both carry condoms but i have a feeling my mom would find out about me buying them, i wouldnt be so worried about her finding out if the guy was 16. i have had sex with him before and ended up missing my period for 2 months! are there any ideas on how to get protection?
please help soon! i rate well!

Be careful have him buy the condoms it might be hard but talk to ur mom

There is this girl i like at school and im not sure if she lkes me back i've asked her out twice and on the second time i asked her she said "...errr well not right now sorry" what is that supposed to mean plz help i rate 5s. btw this question would be better off answered by a girl

Maybe you should wait for a little while and then ask her out agin in a few moths. Oh by the way i am a girl
