I love my boyfriend. He is the greatest! We talk all the time like on the phone and in school. We both never really talk about like holding hand and kissing and stuff like that. We've been going out for 8 months and we've never kissed, held hands, hugged! I'm in 8th grade and he is repeating 7th. I think we're afraid to do that stuff because he is my 1st bf and i'm his 1st gf. If we kissed, it'd be both our first. I really want to but he's afraid to, and that's why i haven't kissed him yet. Why are we both so afraid to? We both want to, but we just can't! Wht????

If you're not ready to kiss, you're not ready to kiss. It's that way with anything physical...from holding hands to sex. If you guys are afraid to kiss, a lot of people are scared about their first kiss. It will happen when it happens.

I wouldn't make a big deal out of it if he was just cuddling with you. Yeah, it's flirting, but flirting isn't cheating. If you don't like how he does that to you, and if he tries to do it again, just tell him.

okay well ima virgin and i missed my period and im kinda freaked out bout it am i pregnant? i had the flu during the time i was supposed to get it. do you think that thats y i missed?

It's completely normal, especially if you've only had your period for less than a year or were sick or had a weight change. The only way you can become pregnant is through sexual intercourse. You probably just missed it because you were sick. Things should be back to normal shortly.

I don't like this guy at all, like as a boyfriend. But, everytime he talks to me i just wanna get with him and do stuff. So like I told him i don't like him and he's like let's be friends with benefits. So i kind of want to, but i'm going out with the most amazing girl. You're just physically attracted to this guy. Things like that happen sometimes. You can't control your hormones. However, you can control what you do. If you're already in a relationship, I wouldn't do anything physical with this guy. Realistically, you might not always be with this girl, and you might still want to get with this guy later But in the here and now, if you love your girlfriend that much, tell this guy that. Tell him you don't want to be friends with benefits, and save sex (or in this case even whatever else you intend to do) for the one you love.

is it true that when your ears ring it means someone is talking about you?

my friend said it was true..but i dont believe it.

It's a superstition, just a fun little thing people say. However, I guess it can't really be proven. If it's true, then people have been talking to me since I got that ear infection months ago that doesn't want to go away for some reason.

Been there, done that! You have to be careful about this situation, depending how much you like the guy and how close you and your friend are...this sort of thing has ruined a friendship for me.

Just be open about your feelings with your friend. Tell her you like this guy as well. As long as you're honest with her and don't do anything that you know would hurt her, you can't go wrong. If she gets angry at you, then she's obviously not a very understanding friend.

I've tried many times to put a tampon in, but I have no success. It hurts SOOOO bad. Like, I'm not sure if I'm just being a wimp or soemthing but it really does hurt super bad. What can I do about this? Why is it doing this? Please help! I'm fully relaxed when I try so please don't tell me to just relax. I REALLY need to start using tampons so PLEASE help me out here! What's wrong with me?! HELP! THANKS!

Try a different type or size, first. I wouldn't worry about it though. Tampons hurt me, as well, even small ones that are advertised as comfortable, like Tampax Pearl. (However, if you haven't tried that, give them a try.) Pads should work fine. If you really really need to use tampons (i.e. you're on the swim team) then I don't know what to tell you other than to try a new brand or size.
