Ask around.
Talk to both of them. Ask if either have dates or have been asked. Figure out which girl you want to ask first, in other words, figure out which one you would like to go with you the most! If they say no, you always have a second option! Just don't tell her she was second best!

So, here's the story:
I am currently a freshman attending a private high school in Greenville, North Carolina. Since I'm in high school, I've started to search for different colleges that I would be interested in attending. I'm considering UNC-CH and I've viewed the application forms and application requirements. While I was looking through them, I noticed that a few of the required courses are not offered at my school as of now. My English literature teacher informed me that some colleges in the area offer extra courses during the summer, so I'm going to begin the required courses later this semester. But, I'm wondering whether taking the extra courses at a college during the summer or switching from my current school to a public school that offers these courses would be better for applying. I know that AP and IB programs are offered at J.H. Rose and South Central in Greenville, but I can't bear to leave my friends and my boyfriend behind. I know that my education should come first, but really, it is hard for me. What do YOU think would be the best thing for me in the long run?

You have a couple options!
You can switch to a public school and have the classes that you need... Yes it'll save your parents money, but obviously they put you in the private school in the first place so it shouldn't be a big deal.
Or, you can graduate and go to a community college...like Pitt or Martin Community College in Williamston, NC. They offer the classes, plus you'll be able to take SAT and ACT prep courses which are always helpful, and it'll raise your GPA which will give you a larger chance at getting into the College or University of your choice.
Good luck!

When it's with the right person and for the right reasons...it can NEVER be too soon.

my best friend has done "things" with a guy that i never thought she would do i mean shes only 14 and i have known her for about 8 years and she has never done anyhting like this before...i know its like none of my buisness to what she does but i just dont know what to say to her or what to think of her anymore...what do i do??? She's your best friend. If she told you these things apparently she did so in the hope that you'd be accepting. You don't have to do what she does or even condone it. All you need to do is be there for her. Warn her of risks and remember not to tell you that you told her so when she screws up.

Pick a univeral topic to talk about. Such as movies, music, etc. Or, ask her about HER. Compliment and ask.

Every other day go for a simple walk. Cut your meal portions in half and drink water.
Cut calories, not fat grams.
Simple.

I dont even know where to start. I'm 19/f I've just recently lost my job, me and mom are arguing all the time now i've just lost my boyfriend (He does say hes not sure what he wants, his hearts telling him to stay then his head and family are saying leave) He has dumped me though. I cry all the time and feel down. How can i pick my self back up i dont want to be depressed. I do have a history of self harm and dont want to go back. Please please help. :-( (link)

Best advice I can give you...get back up. Make a list of potential jobs and go for it. Forget the boyfriend...if he was really meant to be with you he'll come back in his own time. Don't push him because we all know eventually, in most sensible men, the heart always wins.
About your Mother...get on her level. Don't argue back. You know who you are, what you do and where you stand. Revolve your world around yourself and the success you know you can achieve rather then your mother, your boyfriend and a lost job. They only bring you down.

well.. i am totally in love with this kid.. we used to be friends, but that was only because he was like best friends with my cousin, and we hung out like every day.. he and my cousin dont talk anymore, and neither do we, but i see him every day in school, adn he gives me a smile, and to me, it seems like his eyes *twinkle* sappy, huh? well.. tell me, should i stop loving him because we dont talk, or does it matter?? please help! Well, you shouldn't be able to make yourself just STOP loving someone...maybe you should talk to him rather than trying to make yourself stop feeling the way you do. Isn't it funny how we always take the hard way out when it comes to love? :-) Good luck!
