I'm 18, and wil vote in the upcoming election. I understand that it's important to be educated on what each candidate stands for and everything, so I need help finding this out. I've Googled it, but there are SO many websites and none of them really "sum up" each cadidate, they only compare them. I really want to learn how to play the guitar; however, I am a total beginner and I have no idea to look for when purchasing a guitar. I need some advice on where to begin!
Since I am just learning how to play, which guitar is best to begin on: acoustic or electric?
How much should I expect to spend on a good guitar for beginners? How long should a guitar last me? A lifetime? A couple of years?
I have seen some cool brands called Gibson, Ibanez, Fender, and Peavey. Which brand is best to start on though? I know the model or style might vary according to what stage you are in playing so any information on finding the right guitar for me is appreciated.
I want to end up playing some Jonas Brothers songs. I really love the Jonas Brothers and I think they have great music. The Jonas Brothers' songs don't sound too difficult to learn, I think, but I have no idea where to start. I know I need to look for guitar tabs for the Jonas Brothers but I don't know where I buy guitar tabs at or where to find guitar tabs online! If anyone could direct me to that as well, I would be thrilled.
As a note, I do plan on basically teaching myself how to play. My best friend plays a little bit and she has agreed to help me start out since she taught herself how to play guitar.

first of all don't buy a guitar out of a box. they're usually shit. if anyone who knows about guitars can come with you to buy it, take them with you. a good guitar should last a lifetime, unfortunately they can be expensive. if you can find a NICE used guitar you can really get a deal. my guitar was $80 amazingly, but i doubt youll find one that cheap. just find a guitar that feels right, and that isn't hard to play. don't buy the first one you pick up, look at several.

you should definately WASH down there. but i wouldn't douche. thats just not good for you. and it makes it harder for the gyno to see if anything is wrong, because you wash away good bacteria too. so wash but don't wash inside. it won't smell like daisys but it also won't smell too nasty. there are also feminine wipes i think. that may help if your overly smelly. if the smell is a problem, you should see your gynocologist.

i'm not sure about the exact shirt (if you want that particular one, i would try ebay) but macy's had some that were the same style and had simalar patters, and they were only four dollars, but i think they were on clearance, so i'm not sure if they still have them. you could find out what kind of shirt it is and google it. anyway good luck :)

I am 16 and got braces in June, just on my lower teeth. I have had a problem with one of my lower adult teeth not coming in... it's been about 2 years waiting for it to come up on its own and its still way under the gum. I'm sick of waiting and my mom talked to my orthodontist about an oral surgery procedure he had previously discussed. We will be looking further into it and, hopefully, having it done so my braces can be off sooner!
All I know right now of the procedure is that the tooth would be taken up from under the gum (unless it is fused to the bone... ick) and then a bracket would be put on it.
If anyone has any experience with something like this or has a career in this field, could you tell me what to expect? Will I be knocked out for the surgery? Will they inject something in my veins... because that makes me freak out..? How long is the recovery period? How long do you think braces would be needed afterwards? My teeth are already straight, but that one tooth is stuck under.

i actually just had oral surgery for almost the same exact reason. weirdd. anyway, my tooth is on the top. they did give me an iv and put me to sleep,however they gave me a drug before that to help me relax and actually wanted to give me MORE before the iv but i was relaxed enough. i know its scary but its not as bad as you think. they exposed my tooth and attatched a chain to it now i just wait for it to be pulled down. i really wasn't in all that much pain either, but they did give me medicine for the pain. i only took three.
also its v. rare for it to be fused to bone. your doc will probably tell you more about the situation. the recovery should just be a few days but you might be put on a soft diet for awhile. i'm not sure about how long the braces will be on, as i'm still waiting myself. good luck :D smile pretty. -sara/19

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 6 months now. And i love him to death. He just does so many things that upset me. if he isn't capable of listening to what you have to say and continues to act like this you Should definately break up with him. in the end the decision is yours. he should be treating you like a princess and hes not. so tell him your dissapointed in the way he is acting and see if his attitude changes. there ARE ups and downs to every relationship, but it sounds to me like its mostly downs.. its hard to let someone go if your really love them, just take some time and think about what you want.

I'm going into my junior year this fall, and I'm nervous. I heard it's one of the most important, yet the most hard year in high school.
I'm also going to be getting my permit AND my job in October. I need a job simply because I'm BROKE.
I need study tips, any tips for balancing time, and any other advice for my junior year.
Also, should I be looking into college? I want to be a vet, so should I also be doing anything else? (Volunteering, etc.)
for me. junior year was hard, and senior year was harder. and i didn't see it coming. everyone said that senior year would be easy. i think it was so hard because 1 i was expecting it to be easy and 2 i had no idea what to think about college. it's going to be a lot harder to manage your time with a job so just be committed to your schoolwork, but don't get too stressed out. remind yourself that its not the worst thing that could happen to you to not get an A on your research paper. you don't have to know EXACTLY what you want to do in your life because there is so much time. Most college students switch their majors at least once if not twice and the undecided catagory of students is the largest. However since you know you want to be a vet you don't have to worry much about this. find out which school has the best programs in that field. think about if you want to live in a dorm, at home, or a million miles away. Volunteering is always a great way to spend your time, and i'm pretty sure most colleges like that. above all don't get too stressed or you can lose it. Good luck :)

So I think I am depressed but I have never been to a doctor to get help or anything. Usually I just hide all my emotions in and then when Im riding my horses I will take my anger out and use that as stress releif. But latley that has not been enough. Earlier this year I was un happy with my body image so I turned to bilimia to make myself thinner, that helped me feel better about myself until I started passing out at gymnastics practices, I was able to overcome this on my own and not have to tell anyone. I thought I was doing better but sense summer has been here I have been a weck, my anger is taking over me and I have been physically hurting myself and I just try and stay away from people because I feel as if people are judging me and are annoyed by me. I fight with my family all the time, except my older brother who no longer lives with me, I have an older sister and my parents idolize her they think she is just perfect she, has all the friends, good in school, never lets anything affect her, Im not as good in school I have problems focusing and I struggle with school, my parents beleive that because my sister is cappable in getting good grades and scholerships that I should be able to do the same and I am just not trying, I also have many problems at school socially I try and get involved but I feel so uncomfertable I dont have any true friends when we have to pair up in groups I am always the last one or the one left out of groups.... I dont go to the school district that I live in but the school district I live in that is the school I want to go to I have friends there from sports and 4-H but my mom does not want me to attend there because she thinks that it will be the same for me there that it is in my school now, school is starting soon and I think that if I have to go back to my original school I might blow up and just not be able to take it anymore. When my family was on vacation, my sister said a little thing that made me explode so I didnt want to eat dinner with the family so i could cool down but my dad ended up not letting me then my dad and I ended up in a physical fight where my mom and sister had to break us up, I cracked on my parents and tried to kill myself that was the first wake up call to them but they still dont get it they think it was just one bad day, and they dont know how I truely feel, and how sad and lonely I really am I need help because Im not sure how much longer I can take it.
