Some girl purchased sunglasses from me on ebay and she said once she received it in the mail, it had scratches all over it and it looked like it had been sat on after being used. I explained to her that they were in perfect condition when I shipped them, they have never been worn, and had absolutely nothing wrong with it. Now, shes accusing me of lying and demands a refund. I figured it either got damaged while it was in the mail or she just doesn't like it and wants her money back, but she refuses to accept it. In my description, I said all sales are final and I am not responsible for any lost or damaged items. And now she's reporting me to Ebay because she can't get a refund. (Which she knew she wouldnt be able to get when she bidded on my item.) I feel bad that her sunglasses got damaged, but I had them safely wrapped and shipped in perfect condition, so it's not my fault. Plus, she's being rude and ridiculous, so I refuse to even do anything nice for her, like bend my rules. So is there way I could get in trouble for something like that?
You might be better off asking something like this in the eBay Answer Center. They have been helpful to me in the past.

Most girls have at least one day (for me it was usually two... lucky me has a break until January) where their period is heavier than any other day.

My boyfriends' ex is pregnant, she isn't trying to break us up or anything. She stays out of my way and I stay out of hers. I love my boyfriend very much, do you think that the baby could break us up or make us closer. Please help. Should I talk to the ex or just leave things as are.
To be perfectly honest, it's none of your business. If you break up it will be because of decisions you or your boyfriend make. How would a baby break you up? If you are going to be together, you are going to be together. No baby is going to change that. The baby and the way your boyfriend and his ex handle the pregnancy and, possibly, parenthood has nothing to do with you.
It would be best if you just stay out of it and support him as well as you can for as long as you are together.
Sorry if this sounded harsh. I've been through something similar and it's not easy for any party.

My boyfriend has had his half chihuahuah, half shih-tzu mix for 7 years. They recently found out that his dog is A)Is blind in one eye B)Is going blind in the other and C)Is diabetic. Their dog is very sick, and the cost of medications is becoming overwhelming for them. They decided that they would try out the medications for a little while, but they eventually would put the dog to sleep. They don't want him to suffer. His birthday is coming up in September and I wanted to get him a puppy. Not something to replace his other dog, but he's just so used to having a dog, that maybe by getting him another would bring a new joy in his life. I am extremely low on budget for his birthday, so I'm not even sure I'll be able to get him a dog but I have it in mind for Christmas if I can't for his birthday. I was thinking of adopting a puppy or rescuing one from a local shelter. My only thing is, I know if I am to adopt one, the dog will be in MY name, so ultimately the dog is MY responsibility. But aside from that, exactly how much is it to adopt a dog or rescue one from a shelter? I was thinking of a small breed, a chihuahuah, shih-tzu, lasa apso or maybe a maltese. Something small though. Anyone know? Thanks in advance!

A friend of mine had a dog. It was before I knew her, but I believe it was a Black Lab mix. Her dog passed away a couple of years ago. She'd had him since he was a puppy.
Just this last spring she came out and said that she was finally ready for another dog. It took her all this time to feel ok about getting another dog. Before she was ready, it would have hurt her to have to care for another pup and it may have affected the way she felt about him.
What you want to do is admirable, in my eyes. It's something that I've been wanting to do for my friend for a while now. But it was only when she felt she was ready that it would have been a helpful and not so hurtful thing to do. We're planning on getting her a pup for Christmas.
What you might want to do before you go out and bring home a pup, would be to sit down with your boyfriend and talk with him about it. He or his family might not be ready to take on another pup. They might need some time to handle their emotions about the pup that they have now.
To actually answer your question, though... in my area it costs $50 to adopt a dog from the pound. That includes two years of free vaccinations. I'm in the Philadelphia/ South Jersey area, though, so the prices may differ for you.
I wish their pup easy days.

This is going to be the strangest question ever. My grandmother and my mother both carried a Bible as part of their bouquet for their weddings. I want to do the same. There are 4 possible Bibles that would fit the bill.
#1-Grandmother's Bible-She isn't around, and she wouldn't let my mom carry it. It's a faded ivory.
#2-Mom's Bible-She carried it, but she is now divorced. So maybe superstitiously, I don't really want to carry it. I will already be wearing her veil. It is white.
#3-The Bible I was given when I was Baptized. It's blue, and a little stained due to a fire. I don't think anyone will see the stained.
#4-The Bible I was given at or near birth with my name written on it. It is a very light pink.
All of these Bibles mean something to me. They aren't huge, so weight shouldn't be an issue. One day I want the blue one, and one day I want grandmother's Bible. What's your opinion?
If it were me, I would carry the Bible I was given when I was Baptized.
Even if you hadn't said it, it seems from the question that they all mean a lot to you. So, whatever you decide, it might be nice to have the others nearby... maybe setting somewhere close to where you will say your vows.

Go to Google or (my personal favorite) Copernic and type in 'your area here' transit. For example... when I need to find out when the train or bus is coming so I can get somewhere, I'll go looking for 'New Jersey' (my area) Transit and look at the schedules for the trains or buses I need to take. If there's a transit system, they will have either a web site where you can look up the schedules and routes or a phone number where you'll be able to call and tell them where you are and where you want to go. They should be able to give you the information you need.

It could be that when your boyfriend fingered you, he nicked you with his fingernail. It could also be that he broke your hymen ("popped your cheery", as much as I dislike that phrase) when he was fingering you. There is a lot of blood flowing in that area, especially when you're turned on.
It really sounds like he may have nicked you, just due to how you describe the play and the bleeding and from my own experiences.
I've been nicked when my Better Half was fingering me, it didn't hurt but it bled like I was on my period. I, also, had had my period recently and it couldn't have been that. I called my OB/GYN and, after describing what we were doing when it happened, was told that it was most likely that he had nicked or scratched me. The bleeding didn't last terribly long, surely not as long as a regular period, and I had no after effects from it.
In the future, you might want to make sure any fingers (yours, his, whoever's) that enter you are fairly well trimmed and not jagged.
I don't think it's best to use a tampon right now. It doesn't sound like it's your period and using a tampon when not on your period could do more harm than good.
If the bleeding persists, gets a lot worse, or you have pain that you can't explain, the best thing to do would be to call a doctor.

Secondly... I was 14 when I first had sex. Three months later (at 15) I was pregnant. I liked the boy, I had a child with that boy that I liked, that boy I liked has had no contact with his child in about 5 years now. Like is not, in my opinion, a strong enough emotion on which to base a decision that will, in one way or another, change your life.
If this boy respects you and cares for you, he will wait until you are sure of what you want to do and will wait for you without trying to pressure you into a decision. If he doesn't, then it's up to you to respect and care enough for yourself to wait until you are ready.
