Ok so i have this friend but i dont konow if he likes me as a friend or wants to be more then that, anyway we have homeroom and last period together in last period we talk all the time and when i'm not looking at him he stares at me and when i catch him staring at me he smiles at me then if i tell him my dads picking us up he'll say your dads picking us up when he knows i mean my dads picking me my sis and my bro up but he says that stuf on purpose to make me laugh and when were going to the buses i was with my friend and he was in front of us and i guess he heard my voice so he turned around and smiled at me for like 5 seconds and almost fell down the stairs......he plays football too but he can't play rite now because he fractured his wrist i dont no if he likes me or not and thank you so much to everyone who answers this you've been a big help just saying this ahead of time

Okay, first off: don't worry about his height. He's still hot, and anyway it shouldn't really matter.
He sounds like he might like you. I think he probably does, but you should see if he acts like that to other girls too. Just kind of check next time you're in a group.
So flirt with him. He seems like the kind of guy who would want to ask you out, so don't ask him. Just flirt a lot, and send him a definite signal that you want to go out with him. He'll get the hint.

If you're in middle school, then you could try this if flirting doesn't work:
You could ask a friend to ask him if he likes you. Tell them to just be like, "Do you like Amy?" If he asks why, they can be like, "You kinda seem like you do." If he says yes, they can let it slip that you like him too. He should ask you out.

She knows that you like him, right? Well keep texting him and talking to him on myspace. And remind her that, even though they're hanging out, it doesn't mean that he likes her. He's not hers yet. Say that since you both like him and he might like either of you, he's fair game for both of you. Agree to not make the other person look bad, but you can both go after him.

So text him and myspace him, and mention that you two should hang out some time, really casually. Just be like, yeah, we should def chill some time. and see what he says.

ok so i was messing around with my boyfriend and he fingered me. when he pulled his hand out there wasnt any blood. but like a little later that night, my stomach started to hurt. almost like cramps for my period but im not on it, or starting soon. im pretty sure it didnt pop but ive heard that when you pop ur cherry your stomach hurts. so is it popped or a little bit popped? thanks.

It's not popped. Popping means that your hyman breaks. The hyman is like a little thin circle of skin, and when your cherry pops, it rips. It would definitely bleed. It might have hurt if you weren't too wet and his fingers irritated you, like when you pull a tampon out when it's not full of blood. Or, you could be sore if you were kinda getting into it.

does anyone else find the ratings offensive? especially if they did not get nominatd for anything? im not quite sure how this app works. i tried to use it but it only showed a few people my network.. like the same people kept popping up and i had to compare that person and another person and the whole thing was really dumb.

I didn't really think so at all. I got a lot a lot of votes for things, but maybe people in your area don't do it and that's why you didn't? I don't know you should have. Your friends probably don't use it and that's why. And yeah when I do it it does tend to show a group of probably like twenty people a few times each in a cycle but it changes each one. But I don't know it's my favorite app I think it's cool.

So I am 14 and i took your advice that was in order to get more guy friends i should ask them for there numbers etc. and invite them to go places with my friends. All my friends are 15 and we are sophmores my birthday is in december, so i was just wondering what are some good places to go to hang out. I want to interact with them, so I dont want to go to the movies or someplace you can't interact. A lot of people say restaurants but i would rather do something more fun. So if possible can you give me a few places that you feel is a good place to hang out with a group of about 12 people coed! Thanks so much

Alright, here are some ideas:
Me and my friends go to a diner. I know you said no restuarants, but I like it because it's way less formal, you don't really have to get food so much as like fries or something, and you can be louder and have more fun.
Also, take advantage of where you live. Like, if you live in a town by the water, go to the beach or a dock or something. If you live near mountains or a woodsy area, go to a nature preserve and fool around there. Places that you probably wouldn't go to.
Bowling. It's so dorky, but it's also so much fun, especially with a big group.
A local pool. Since it's getting colder, you probably can't go to an outdoor pool, unless you live somewhere where it's not so cool yet. But try an indoor pool. They're usually heated, which is great, and it's a lot of fun to juts hang out in the water.
Ice skating rink. You might know how to skate or you might not, but it's still a lot of fun. After, you can all go back to one of your houses for hot chocolate.
Another thing that's really great is just walking around together. Agree to all meet up to get ice cream, and then after, just walk around town, doing nothing really. You can all head back to someone's house, fool around in the stores and everything, or whatever. Walking around is especially fun at night. If you're all at someone's house or out doing something and it gets dark, just say, "Let's go walk around." It's really fun, I promise.

I was hanging out with my friend, and I saw this really hot guy who worked at the place we were at. She helped me get his number. After we left she kept making me go back with her, and like talk to him, and I felt like I was giving him the impression I was obsessed with him. But how long should I wait to call him? And when I do call him, how do I start a conversation? And lastly, how can I call him more times after the first time, without things being awkward?

Call him the day after tommorrow.
And just be like, hey, whats up, anything new...
Just let him talk about things, and you can do the same. And if the conversation slows, be like, "So me and a few friends are going to a movie on Friday, you wanna come?" That way, he'll know you're interested, but you won't really be asking him out or anything.

After the colour was washed out of your hair, did your actual hair colour fade or look different?

A little over a year ago, I had a horrible experience with it.
I dyed my hair purple.
As you know, the dye is supposed to last about eight washes.
It lasted seven months for me.
Around the fifth month, it faded to a wierd copper-orange color.

If you google it and read some reviews, you'll find that others had the same problem I did.

So yeah , its the carnival , a time to hang out with friends and see everyone from schools and so on. The other night i went and i was with a bunch of my friends. I felt totally left out. like wow. embarrased kind of. Like they would talk to eachother and such what and not include me. like; it would be a circle of just them, and i would be out of it. literally. Oh and when i turned around to answer my cell, no one noticed. they went to go meet one of their other friends. i dont know, it kills me to see that i have those kind of friends, you know? so much stress man. like okay, i'll tell you about them. So my bff J, ive known her the besstt out of the whole group. shes awsome, shes like my sister.And then i have my otheer bff M, aha shes hilarious and we have so much in common.Annnd then theres the other four. I dont really talk to them but im friends with them, i eat with them at lunch. i know im still approving the relationships with them but still. No one should just leave someone . that sounds tacky, but im pretty sure you know what i meen. Gr. i just have to let it out. I dont show emotion, i meen im not emo or whatever, its just that ive been hurt so much in the past by the people who i called "best friends" that i can take , and im ready for anything that pops up in my way. So I'm 15/f, going into 10th grade & I feel silly about asking this question, but it's bothering me and I have to now.

I have 2 best friends and I love them both equally. Well, one of them is a guy, whom we will call Bob. Well, Bob and I have been best friends since 8th grade & I love him, even though he's kind of a blah person. He's cuddly and funny and just awesome to be around. I don't know. He's just really easy to be comfortable around? But he doesn't like many people so it's kind of ironic in a way. But anywhos, he's the type of person that has a best friend one year and another the next year. And I guess I kind of "pushed it" keeping him as my best friend for 2 years. Yeah, lame, I know. Anywhos, he and I don't really do much outside of school. He just plays video games all day long and I just study, study, study, play violin, and blah. Well, I really love him and I don't want to lose him but I feel like I've already lost him. There's this other guy, whom we'll call Jo. Well, Jo is bi/gay [I don't know. He keeps on going back and forth every week. Hard to keep track of] and Bob is gay & they have that little link there. And Jo is much more outgoing and leads a sort of hedonistic life and is pretty much more interesting than I am. Haha. But, yeah. I feel like I'm completely losing Bob to Jo and Bob's the type of person that kind of forgets a person when another interesting person comes by? But anywhos, I can tell that Jo and Bob are pretty close now & have hung out a few times during the summer [without me]. I'm afraid to lose Bob as a friend. I mean, I wouldn't mind much if I lost him as a best friend. But I do mind a lot if I might lose him as a friend. Ahh! What do I do? Please don't say talk to him. He doesn't talk much and we're not very good with "serious" talking. And hanging out is pretty much pointless since I don't have much time to hang out during school.

2 questions in one: (publishing a book/ starting a business)

ok so i have an idea for a book that i really want to make but i dont know how to apply it..... i mean make the book more than just an idea....

how do you present the book to a publisher. and before that where do i start in making it....its not a novel its more full of pictures and stuff and activities and things to do for teens and tweens.

another thing if i am a good artist how do i illustrate the book? do i draw and print everything then take it to a printer and make a sample (its going to cost me a fortune to show my final result as i imagine it and i dont have that kind of money. as i've said the book isnt just pages :s).....

how does this process usually go?

the second thing is if i have something, a product , i created and i want to sell it it what do i do. i don't want to go door to door. oh plus i mean i have to make it first to advertise it right.... well i was watching oprah the other day and she got this lady who invented something called spanx.... why did she need 5000 dollars!!?? and what did she do after she made the spanx, where did she go to start her company?

But you really might want to think about getting an agent. They usually do not give books without agents more than a glance. You'll have a much much bigger chance if you get an agent.


And for the second thing, I dont know what to tell you about getting people to sell it. But for advertising, that's simpler. You would have to like, make a commercial or advertisement or something, then you have to call a TV station or magazine or whatever to advertise. It's really expensive, though.

my boyfriend's (of a year and 2 months) birthday is coming up and i have ONLY 50ish dollars to spend on it, and it makes me feel really cheap. So, could someone please give me suggestions? I know there are these types of questions all the time but i really need this because im on a budget.

Make him a scrapbook. You can make it chronological. In the beginning, put pictures of before you were going out(if you have any), then from your first date. Then, put pictures from other dates and things you've done together. Include ticket stubs or anything else. Decorate it with stickers, ribbon, and other things you can find. Also, if you have any activities in common, put mementoes from those in. Like, if you were both in a play, put a page of the program in. Also, write inside jokes on the pages. If you can remember any old ones, put them towards the beginning. He'd be happy to read ones from a long time ago.
If you want, you can write summaries of pages or detailed picture captions or something.
Be creative.

i don't know for like school dances when to start dancin, like look at the guy and be like wanna grind or what just do it...? uggg and i don't know how to grind either, please help me..!

Get some friends(it could be just two or three, or it could be ten) to come dance on the dancefloor with you. Grind together(girl on girl grinding is okay) and then just kinda make your way towards guys and be like, wanna dance?
And grinding is pretty simple. If they have grind-trains at your school dances, you could probably get into one of those yur first few times grinding. It would make it easier because the person behind and infront of you would kinda direct you. But basically you just bend your knees and move your butt into someone else's crotch. It's pretty simple.

ok my friend from the US has bought me a vibrator, along with other stuff, he is going to ship it over to me soon but we need to find a way of packing the vibrator or hiding it so my parents dont see it in the box, because they will want to see what hes bought me.. and that will just be embarrasing.

When's the last time you saw him? If you've seen him in like, the past year, he can wrap it in old clothes and you can say its some stuff you left at his place last time you visited him.

Or he can get a cheap pillow and put it inside and say that he made the pillow and decided to ship it to you because he didnt want it. Yeah, it will make him kinda look lame, but it's your parents opinion of him. So who cares?

Ask her to sit with you and your friends at lunch, or to come out with you and all your friends one day. Not as a date or anything. But if she doesn't know a lot of people, her social life is probably not so full right now. I've been new at schools four times, and until you meet a group of friends, all you ever want is for someone to invite you somewhere. She'll think it was incredibly considerate and sweet of you to ask her. You can just be like, "Who do you sit with at lunch?" "-Her answer-" "Okay. And, um, if you ever want to sit with me and my friends, you should feel free." Orrrr you could walk her to lunch, and when you get there, just be like, "Wanna sit with me and my friends?"
You could do the same thing to invite her out with you. Just be like, "Hey, me and some of my friends are going to the movies on Thursday after school. Want to come?"

omg. im black and i wanted to tryout for it since i really love the books, but idk because like none of the characters are black in the story. um theres 5 winners and the remaining auditions are only for claire and massie right? i wanted to be like Layne or something.. since they never really said what race she was. ugh so pretty much i should give up right? since massie and claire were both described as being white. ughhhhhhhh or can you tryout for other charas like layne? or extras in the movie? i need info! btw im 13.

They probably wouldn't cast you, but it's worth a shot. Auditioning is pretty simple, so what can you lose? Also, even if they don't choose you for Massie or Claire, they might choose you for another part. It's far from uncommon for an actor to try out for a part different from the one he or she ends up with. Send in a tape and see what happens. If they really like it they might just give you a call.

if someone sent you a friend request and you cancelled but want to uncancel it? but dont want to friend request them back without knowing you cancelled? because:
i mean, isnt there a way to tell if someone didnt add you to their friend list (unless you remember every person you friend requested and mass requested people all at once)? if you go to their profile, private or not and below see FRIEND REQUESTED... and later it being gone and there's Add as Friend or something?

You can't really uncancel.
But if you rejected their request pretty recently, you can be like sorry i clicked the wrong thing hah
And if it wasnt you could just say that you must have clicked the wrong one and not even realized it until just now.

After about 14, most girls do shave. I'd say like 75%, but thats just a guess.
I really wouldn't recommend shaving. It causes ingrowns and stubble, which is bad.
I'd try waxing or using a depilatory.
Waxing kind of hurts, but it's worth it.
Depilatories, like Nair, are good. I don't really know how it works but it does work well. You just have to be careful. If it starts to burn, take it off asap and wash it. Sometimes it can cause bleeding. Nothing bad, but who wants to have cuts down south?

I am a 14 year old female and i havent gotten my period yet but i want to have sex. My question is can i have sex even though i havent had my period yet. and if i can have sex is there any chance of me getting pregnate??

Yeah, you could get pregnant if your period was going to start soon. The mentrual cycle is about 28 days long and your period doesn't start until about the 21st day. You could get pregnant at any point during the cycle, and you don't know when it's going to begin.
Use condoms and another form of protection as well. Birth control, nuvaring, spermacide... anything.
