If you say I don't kiss and tell are you saying I don't kiss a person and then tell if they were a good kisser or I don't tell who I kissed?

Also, i've heard the saying preaching to the choir a whole lot...what does it mean?

If you can answer only one it's fine. Just need this to clear up a little confusion!

Don't kiss and tell simply means that what goes on between two people stays between two people. No one needs to know your personal affairs. So, you simply say nothing. You do not tell anyone who you kissed or how they kissed.

Preaching to the choir simply means that you are telling someone something they already practice. For example, you tell someone who is adament against abortion that abortion is wrong. That is preaching to the choir. Like telling the church choir that Jesus died for them. That is preaching to the choir. Telling someone something that they not only already know but that it is something that they live by...

Hope that cleared things up.. :)

every once in a while (but not too much) I go to some sort of fancy dinner and I always get so confused when the first course comes with my silverware. Which fork do I start with? Usually I just use what the person next to me uses, but what if they're waiting for me to use a fork first? it could become very very confusing.

It all depends on how the table is laid out. Most of the time it is from the outside in. The dessert fork is usually either laid diagonal at the top rim of the plate. Unless it is brought with the dessert.

When all else fails it is always good etiquete to let the host begin each course. You can gently fold your napkin in your lap or entertain with polite conversation while watching the host and which silverware they use first.

Always, always keep your drinking glass to the right of your plate and always lay your fork down when you are going to take a drink and hold the glass in your right hand. The napkin always stays in your lap unless you are using.

No matter what, even if the host or hostess uses poor manners you should always stay by the guidelines. You never know who may be watching and when you get used to proper eating techniques then you are never thrown off guard. You never know who you may later mess up in front of so get in the practice now of using proper skills. One day people will watch you to see which fork to use first... :)

I think I am sorta ugly, so I want to wear makeup but not a lot. maybe like eyeliner and eyeshadow and some mascara. [something like that] i dont want to wear tooooo much! [not like 2 girly]. i dont want my friends to be surprised so i dont want it to be a major change, but plz gimme tips! thank ya!

Go to the mall. Any of the major department stores and tell the girl at the make-up counter the results that you want. She will then put make-up on you and you can see the results immediately and it costs nothing. Sometimes it is wise to call ahead and make sure that someone is there.

Here are some of the places to call, remember different parts of the country have different department stores. Here are some, BosCov; Gottschalks, Macy's, Sax, etc.. So now you understand what kind of stores I am talking about.

Look for the following counters, Mack, Lancolme, Clarins, Bennefit, Chanel... Just call the department store or go in and talk to one of the girls behind the counter and tell them that you want someone to teach you to apply your make-up. They will be happy to do it. You do not have to buy anything. Then have her explain everything that you are doing and then duplicate it with more inexpensive brands with the same color schemes if your parents won't spring for the more expensive stuff. Wet and Wild has a lot of stuff for like 99 cents that works well as a duplicate.

Just make sure that you tell the girl at the counter what you want to look like. That you want a more natural look but for it to be more refined. You can go to a new counter each week. Like I said it is often best to call ahead and schedule an appointment so that you know they will have the time to show you what it will look like and pay close attention to what they are doing.

Sometimes, a simple 15 dollar eye-brow waxing will change your entire appearance or a little face make-up hides teenage blemishes with a little bronzer over the top of the lid and around the cheeks and no one can tell you are wearing anything at all.

Another must is to find the right cut for the shape of your face. A good cut can accent your best features while downplaying the ones that you don't like.

Good luck... :)

Some of my friends are really scared to kiss a guy! They don't know "how." What should I tell them??

Tell them that when the time comes that they really like a guy that it will just come naturally and not to rush it. The best things in life aren't planned. There is more to life than kissing a bunch of people just to get experience. Some of the best times in my life were the anticipation. Once it is over then so is the rush of excitement wondering when it will. :)
