Hi everyone! Im 14 years old, i live in Sweet Home Alabama. I love playing basketball, going to church, and hanging with my friends. i also love the computer/internet. I am a Baptist Christian (if you need to talk about anything pretaining to christianity or whatever IM me) and im willing to share about my faith. Hope you enjoy my column!
Im sick of school (middle at least) i cant wait till this summer when i go to the beach and hang with my friends and my family. If you ask a stupid inapropriate question, then im gonna give you a stupid inapropriate answer.
Im not like most guys. (no, im not gay) I dont like fire or fireworks. Im not perverted or nasty, im not looking for a girlfriend. im not the kind of guy who looks at girls butts as they walk by, i dont care how bug your butt or boobs are. i dont care what you look like, im happy with smart, funny, good sense of humor, and someone who enjoys life. I just enjoy life, i dont care what people say or think about me. i have plenty of friends that love me, and thats all i need. My family is really good, but im not perfect, i have my problems and imperfections.. but im living. Living a great fun filled life.

hey everybody this question is for everyone i am getting braces soon and i am totally freaking out on what colors to get because if i don't like the colors i get then i have to wait till i get them changed again and i am very picky so if anybody could help it would be greatly apperciated thanks i will rate 5's for good and reasonable answers. oh yeah one more thing i am a girl and my favorite color is blue and only blue thanks. okay... dont get yellow... makes you teeth look yellow. black is good.. makes your teeth look whiter. green and red for christmas lloks good on some people, but i dont suggest getting them. blue is really good.. it seems not to make them stand out as much. white is okay unless your teeth are yellow cuz then the white makes them look even yellower. hope i helped a little

i dont think it is at all... some guys dont realize that a girl likes them until they get asked out, and mabey then the guy realizes they like the girl too. but dont make it sound desperate. just tell him how long youve liked him and then just ask him if he would go out with you.. its always best to do it in person.

I moved here in 6th grade and I've always wanted to be popular...So I tried hanging with the white popular people and it seriously was HARD work!! Each year, things got better..and now I'm at that point where we'd be better friends if I'd invite them over (I haven't invited them over yet because I'm embaress that they will say that my house is small compared to theres..or that they will make fun of my lifestyle..and everything) I'm now in 11th grade..and I really want to be friends with these people..I don't think I can keep a close relationship with them if I never invite them over...I'm just very embaressed of the way I live...Compared to them, I'm so much uglier and poorer..and they're rich...Please don't judge..Thanks (link)

if they care what you look like and what your house looks like, they arent true friends, and he long run, they arent the friends you want, no matter how popular or fun they are. you need to find friends that will like you for who you are, not what you look like and how you live. and just enjoy life, dont worry about what other people think.

hey, thats what older syblings are for, to be mean to the younger ones. im the youngest of 4, the closest one to me if 5 years older. im 14, its taken 14 years for my and my closest age sybling to get along. we used to get in fights all the time. but we grew out of it. your brother is just in the stage where he doesnt realize hwo much you mean to him. the time will come when ya'll will get close..

i've been with my boyfriend for over 2 years and we still love each other a lot. i show him all the time how i feel about him, like by giving him a back rub or making him dinner. he tells me that he loves me and is still in love with me, but he never shows me anything that can prove what he says. he has a hard time saying i love you first. i just don't know what to do (link)

just because he doesnt show it as much as you do, doesnt mean he doesnt love you just as much as you love him. he just may show it differently. but if you might think he is cheating on you or something of that matter. then i would confront him about it, tell him its okay to show that he loves you, that he doesnt need to be embarrassed or shy. and dont stop showing him you love him.

I moved to a new state last summer and i havent made that many friends at my new school. There was this girl who was also new who didnt know anyone and she was really down to earth, so we became friends. Over the school year shes become very stuck up, materialistic, and rude to people who try to be nice and talk to her. So im her only friend, and for a while she was my only friend. Ive made some friends with some very nice guys which have invited us (me and my friend) to sit with them during lunch. She never wants to because she thinks shes too good for them. I really dont see anything wrong with them, they are just trying to be friends with her. So i told her to stop being mean and to come sit with them sometime. She always refuses, which means im stuck with her and i dont get to sit with them. Then they get upset (not mad at me) when we dont sit with them. Each day she becomes even more and more rude and i dont really want to be friends with her anymore. Sometimes i feel like she doesnt like sitting with me either. Today during lunch she was on her phone for 45 min out of 50 min. She just kept me sitting there, and when i said i wanted to go sit with the guys she said no. I got really mad and just got up and left to go sit with them because i didnt want to just sit there and listen to her conversation. It was rude for her to be on the phone the ENTIRE lunch period (which is the only time i see her). Anyways, do you think i had the right to do what i did? I know it wasnt very nice, but shes been so mean to people and i thought she deserved it. What would you do in my position? (link)

oyu did the right thing by walking away... you know, if she thinks shes better than everyone else, then she need to be left alone, and eventually she will realize she needs you again, and that she needs you as a friend. but have you talked to her about it? she may have something that is bothering her, or have a problem at her house with her family or something.. and she just doesnt want to be hurt. i dont know, but some people dont know how to deal with stuff liek that and all they really need is someone to talk to.

I believe in sex after marriage, but my boyfriend is persisiting i have sex with him. He aggrivates me ALL the time and I can see myself giving in. I know I will regret it as soon as I've done "the deed". I'm confused as to what I should do; should I choose the easy option and give in? or go by my wishes and wait? (link)

first of all, if you believe in sex after marriage and he doesnt, then there is a very big conflict. If you can see yourself giving in, and yet are still going out with him.. then, just being honest, either you really like this guy except for this one factor, or you kinda like it when he tries to get you to have sex with him. now, i could be completely wrong, but honestly, if you dont want to break up with him, then talk to him about it.. and if he still persists on having sex, then hes not good to be with.

i wrote before about "carl" and what had happended well i stil realli want him and i want to tell him but i dont know how i mean you wont just go up to him and tell him you like him when hes taken right or is that what i should do? i dont know but anyways, we started talking more now well more than before and we joke around and stuff and i just wish hed like me like i like him but i dont think he does. and i was talking to my best friend about it and she told me she was getting made cuz all i ever talk about is "carl" and i told that i do cuz i love him so much and i want to be with hi and nothing would make me happy until we are together and she looked at me like i was on drugs. so what im asking is should i tell him and if so when and where and HOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!plz help im so cunfused. i do think you should tell him. as for when, it sounds like it would be best if you told him when nobody else is around, just to make it easier. as for where, i dont know, cuz i dont know where you see him or anything. and how, just tell him you like him a lot.. you dont have to make it a long complicated explanation. but, if in return he says that he doesnt like you, dont be all depressed and all, you cant get everybody. its important that you tell him though... because you need to find out if he likes you back or not, so if he does mabey you two could become more than friends, and if he doesnt then you could move on to other people. people, no matter how impossible it seems, better than him.
