I'm an loner sort of high-school student, that's the kind of person who observes everyone's problems from a distance and finds the solution right away. Not that there's an easy solution to every problem, that's in no way true, but there's always SOME option.
Ah...what else? Well, I have a passion for J-rock, and I love anime too much.
I'm also an artist (oekaki-er), though I suck.
I love composing songs & writing poetry, and I'm pretty good with computers. Ah, and I sold my soul for a piece of baklava. However, I'm an atheist (or ...what's the word, heathen?)...so in my opinion, I got free baklava!! ^_^
And I like ramen ^_^

ok i haven't had my period yet but i have a question. When ur having ur period and your swimming, what do you wear- pads of tampons so u won't leak?
(link)
Most pads will also fall apart in the water, which can be VERY embarassing.
If you wear a tampon, there's no way to tell...but you DO have to make sure the string's out of sight, lest everyone know you're on your period.

I was giving the most recent columnists' columns a review. I noticed you've changed your column, and added some very interesting (At least to me)new information about yourself. You like to compose and write music, so do I! I'm the lead singer/key boardist/etc of my band, and I write most of the lyrics, as well as some of the guitar riffs, etc. You're also a fellow artist, freaky. I had a peice in my column, but I took it down. I'll put it back up soon. You said you suck, I highly doubt that. All artists tell themselves that, and in my opinion, none of them suck. Well... maybe some. I also write poetry, but I think my poetry sucks. Kind of a twist. I recently wrote an autobiography through poetry, my teacher and fellow students seemed to love it. I thought it could have been a lot better. I also love anime. Some of my favorite movies of all time have been anime. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Ninja Scroll, Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Mononoke, etc. anyway, I would love it if you would send me some of your artwork, poetry, etc. I'm a very good critic. If you would, send it to nleedom@hotmail.com
Thanks
storageanddisposal.
P.S. I also sold my soul. I've sold it several times. I guess many of my friends share ownership. (link)
Haha..
That really is weird, we're so much alike O_O
But I *do* suck.
Hm...my fave movies are Spirited away, Akira (though I don't get it), and of course, the myriad of OVAs for most shows.
I'd love to see some of your poetry sometime! ^_^

ok everytime right after i have my period i start to fart out of my vagina and its really weird and this scares me... what is going on .. what do i do?? im only 13 (link)
It's normal. It's just air rushing out of there...
Still, it might be annoying and definitely embarassing, so I suggest making sure there's as little air as possible in there if you're using a tampon..
Really, I have no clue.

I am 13 going on 14 and only 5'2 . I am tired of wearing super high heels as my mum hates it when i do this , and on top of that , my crush is about 5'11 !!! . Thats like , 9 whole inches taller than me .Which means that I only reach up till his shoulder , not wearing heels .
( He's 14 going on 15 ) Do you think that i am too short for him ? How can i grow taller ?? ( I know it seems impossible to MAKE myself grow taller , but any special diet suggestions ? ) (link)
5'2 isn't really that short..
Plus, height is overrated. Tall women want to be shorter, short women want to be taller. It's life.
If you want to appear taller, try vertical stripes on pants, as they'll make your legs look longer, and same goes for your torso.
You can also make your hair more fluffy, so it sticks up more and adds a bit of height.
Of course, if your crush likes you, he won't care how tall you are.

I have yet to listen to most of the jrock bands you've listed. If they were to fall under a western category, or subcategory, what would they fall under? Punk? Metalcore? Deathmetal? Industrial? I realize placing this type of music in a category is redundant, since most categories have very similar sounds, and most bands are hybrids of these, but I just had to ask?
-storageanddisposal (link)
Ah...they're all really different, the style would change from song to song.
Many of them are just hardcore (get your MIND outta the gutter!!)
...for example, Gackt's songs usually fall under metal or punk, but there's some that are definitely jungle...

Of course, J-rockers don't DRESS like the rockers here...
If you've ever seen pictures of Dir En Grey or X Japan, you'd be shocked.

Again, you've answered my question. It seems this happens everytime I ask one. You must have some one way telepathic link to my thoughts. Sorry to bother you with yet another entry that isn't even a question.
-storageanddisposal (link)
Hehe...
that *is* a bit strange, ne?
Well, it's okie, I dun mind at all..
Plain old questions get boring after a while.
And yes, Spirited Away rules.
The voice actor for Haku is my fave ^_^.
And the girl that does Chihiro's voice is the little girl from "the ring". Scary.

I occasionally pop joints in my arms fingers, toes, neck, back, etc. Does this cause arthritis? I have a mild understanding of anatomy and physiology, and I know the popping sound is caused by the gaps inbetween joints, and that if you do it enough you can wear it down to the bone, but how long does something like that take. And if it does damage your joints, why do chiropractors do it? (link)
No, it doesn't cause arthritis; I've been told so by my chiropractor (I have scoliosis).
However, it's a sign that you're very likely to develop it as you get older.
You have a fairly good understanding of the science behind the popping, at least.
The pops are the sound made when the air is forced out of the "between" part of the joint.

should the fact that my exboyfriend doesnt like disney put up a red flag in my brain that we were never meant to be? lol (link)
I agree with storageanddisposal.
Anyone who doesn't like Spirited Away is evil.
Shoo.
Also, if they feel NO sentiment from watching "City of Angels" (with meg ryan) then that's a hint to put them in a mental hospital.

Some people love disney, others are obsessed about finding x-rated frames in them (tLM...the PRIEST!!)
...and some just hate it.

I was observing your rating comments, and the most recent four are from me. Just thought you'd like to know. Jrock ROCKS! You give great advice, helped a lot. If you ever have any questions, just ask.
-storageanddisposal (link)
Aww, thanks sweetie!!

What's jpop and jrock. Is the j short for Japan. If so, have you heard of the Pillows, they're Awesome. Music from Japan is awesome. (link)
Hell yeah! Jrock ~> japanese rock.
The Pillows sing the best FLCL songs...
But my favourite artist is Gackt, followed by Ayumi Hamasaki, and l'arc~en~ciel.
I also like Dir en Grey, X Japan, The Brilliant Green, Utada Hikaru, Megumi Hayashibara, Yuuki Hiro, and Hitomi to death.

Hi, I'm a 14 year old with some hair touble. Before I was in sixth grade, in had gorgeous, naturally straight, smooth hair. When I got to sixth grade, I found that I had to get up a lot earlier for school, so stupidly I took showers and washed my hair at night, and went to sleep with it still wet. Doing this for an entire year really did a number on my hair, and now it isn't smooth or straight at all, and when I let it dry now without sleeping on it or anything (like I did before sixth grade), it still comes out wiry and frizzy! I've been using a straightener for the past year, but I have to do it every day, and I know that the heat damages my hair (same with blow-drying). I need a solution so that my hair will dry smoothly (without heating) when drying naturally. Please help. (link)
Pantene Pro V is pretty good as a shampoo and conditioner. It's very thick, so it makes your hair a bit more resistant to the torcher weapons we regularly use on our hair ^_^.
The fructis hair mask is a miracle, too...makes hair so soft and silky.

You sound just like me, hair-wise, though.
When I was small, I washed my hair at night, but used a hair dryer.

Im in 6th grade and i have already started my period and i am afraid that i might be pregnant because me and my boyfriend who is a sophmore in high school did it without protection. I come from a family of high class and i dont know what to do!! Pleez help!!
-6th grader* (link)
I'm a sophomore, too...although I've heard of few guys dating girls your age.
I'd be much too scared to tell my parents the truth, I'd probably say that I was raped..
If you were on your period when you had sex, then you're probably not (although that's just gross..)
you ovulate BEFORE your period, so soon after, you'd be safe. Plus, I doubt you have regular periods (there's probably a long wait in between them)...which decreases your chance for pregnancy.
Watch for morning sickness, mood swings, and odd cravings, such as pickles.

Ok I'm 14 years old and in the 8th grade I wear a 32A. My mom said her boobs stoped growing in the 8th grade so do u think mine will grow anymore? (link)
According to my (moronic) doctor, your body grows steadily for two years after your first period.
After that, your breasts and other random organs will probably grow for about 4 years.
If you hit puberty at a younger age ("early bloomer") then you'll reach sexual maturity earlier, too.
If you're a late bloomer, the opposite will obviously happen ...

what is an orgasm? (link)
It feels like a sneeze.

when do you become physically involved with someone (link)
Depends on how physical.
I mean, a kiss on the first date DOES count, but sex is a totally different story.

I fear the summer. I have a tendency to become depressed during this time. I sit at home, with nothing to work on accept my music, my low-budget movie, and my artwork, and that only takes up so much time. I live in a small town with nothing for entertainment, so I just sit at home thinking, and when I think to much, I'll probably get sad over my loneliness, bordem, mother's financial situation, health issues, etc, leading to depression. I hang out with friends, but not as much as I would like. Some of my friends lead more depressing lives than mine. Please don't advise me to make new ones, remember I live in a small town. My car is constantly dying, so I can't safely go outside of town. There's no job that I know of that's not depressing near here. What should I do? (link)
..you sound exactly like me.
Except there's no movie-making in my life, it's more the admin-ing of a few oekakis and such.
What to do? Last summer, I was afraid of the same thing, that I'd start cutting myself to escape the boredom...
But I ended up making some goals for myself to accomplish by the end of the summer..
like, running for a full hour without stopping, beating the hardest level on tetris, perfecting the most perfect swan-dive, drawing, compsing, writing, and playing random video games.
Or you could just crack a book and learn how to cook or paint in acrylics :P

Just curious, what counts more, width or lenghth. (link)
A balance of both is great ^_^

What's the best mascara to use and why? (link)
I like the cute pink and green-bottle ones, personally. Dunno what it's called (the words faded off it) but it's pretty good...
Don't forget, an eyelash curler is an important tool to have, and black eyeliner can go a long way, paired with mascara.

hey! well there's this guy. he likes me and im not sure if i like him! he asked me to the dance and i think im gonna go w/ him as friends but im not sure if i want to dance with him.. wouldnt that be ackward? what would YOU do??

from: not sure

p.s- i have never had a bf b4 cuz i dont want 1 and have never danced w/ a guy! so it would be a new experience! (link)
I've only gone to a dance with a guy as a date once...
(there's only ONE dance a year at my school...SUCKS)
and it wasn't that bad, really. He really sucked at dancing wheras I'm not that bad (though I think I scared him a bit with the "dirrty" bit)
Just go with him, dance with him a bit, and have fun. If another guy asks you to dance, go ahead!
Most of all, remember to enjoy yourself, and don't do ANYTHING that'll get you expelled, or pregnant ^_~

I met this guy thats really mean too me, all he dose is tease me and laughs at me, my mom says its because he likes me but I don't belive it, But all my friends are trying to hook me up with guys I don't even know, what should I do???
Thanks for ur advice
(link)
Blind dates are always funny. Not fun for you, but funny to remember...it's like a power trip, really. Your friends LIKE to play god and say "well, y'know, you two should go together. No reason, just that you might like eachother".

And guys (and girls) tease eachother, because it's easier and more natural to be comfortable that way, than to take it to the next level...
