Is their really no such thing as believing in God and Evolution??? Really? Am I the only one? I mean everyone I tell this too gives me crap about how there's no such thing. In my perfect ideal mind, God is not discriminative against gays, bi's or lesbians, skin color, or form of religion. He created the world (well, more like lives amongst the universe) as is and created it to change and shift forms along with the products living among it. Animals are just as important as human beings and God loves and is not to be feared.

My parents are Catholic maniacs and their ways of thinking and belief are just not the kinds of things I belive and feel are truely correct. If their God is the real God I may as well be down in hell right now! I mean what the heck? Is there anyone out there who sees things the way I do? (link)
I think you're confusing fear of God to mean something bad. For a while I struggled in my faith because I had the same question... if God wants a relationship with us why would he want us to fear Him? After all, isn't He a loving Father? Well I prayed on it for a while and didn't seem to get an answer, but one day it just came to me. God doesn't want us to be afraid OF Him, but He wants us to be afraid of being WITHOUT Him. God was so horrified at the thought of not being with us that He died as a human being for us... and lived among us.
As for discrimination, God loves everyone equally- even when they don't love Him back. I personally believe that gay marriage is wrong but I am not a bigot, as I have many gay/bi friends. It's more about marriage than it is about orientation when you think about it. I still struggle with this issue myself but I trust that there's a reason.
Also, I don't see how evolution conflicts with religion. Science & religion are complementary. Religion and spirituality explain WHY things happen & science explains HOW. Science is merely the means God uses to establish His universe.
As a side note, don't let your parents ruin your view of Catholicism. I've seen that happen too much. I, myself, am a Catholic and I recognize that the church is wounded but there is corruption in any organization, so pray on it and be patient before making any major decisions. Ask God to guide you and place someone in your path who might help you understand.

I truly hope I helped, I will keep you in my prayers! God bless :)

Hi everyone. So I used to attend a private school and my mom moved me to the local public school in our town. I had just finished sixth grade. But since my old school was ahead of the town school, they started me in the eighth grade. It's great, I have A's in all of my classes...except for Algebra. See, I started almost two weeks late and I completely missed when they were explaining the first chapter of the textbook. I put in a ton of time studying but I still got a 67 on a quiz and then today I probably got a C on a test. I am really miserable, can somebody please help me in understanding Algebra 2? By the way, I'm twelve. (link)
Well first of all you should probably clarify which section you're in & what is confusing you. I know if you search on youtube there are plenty of people who make videos to remember formulas and explain processes.

Good luck & God bless :)

I Like this boy and I dont know if he likes me back i think he does. He asked for my number he wants to kiss he talks about how big my butt and boobs are and how he wants to bang(have sex) with me, he said he likes my smile my "sexy body" and just everything about me. Awww cute is what i thought. Ohh and i must add hes still a virgin. Im not, but he i told him i am. i moved down here so he has to believe what i said because he doesnt know my past. BUT anyway, he just talks about sex alot like oh when you going to let me hit that. sometimes i think hes just doing it because he wants me to think hes down for those kindah things. i Think that because hes still virgin and hes gorgeous! he hasnt admitted that he likes me but from what he says i think he does. what should i do continue talking to him or just find someone new? (link)
I, personally, would find someone new. It's very obvious he's attracted to you, but he hasn't shown many signs exhibiting he cares for your personality. With those comments, it's pretty evident that he has no respect for you at all. I know it sounds like a compliment, but think about it... would you be that comfortable going up to a guy and saying those things if it could risk a relationship? He sounds more interested in a one-night stand than a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. Again I could be wrong and he might be totally into you.... but be CAREFUL. It's easy to get caught up in this kind of thing. Be sure to really think things through. Keep in mind he may also be lying about his virginity, because often times girls like a guy who hasn't been all around the block.
Hope I helped & God bless :)

I am the class of 2013, and my class has been reigning champ of the hallway decorating for 2 years consecutively. Now all the other grades are coming for our necks.
So...I need help with decorating ideas. Our theme this year is PARIS
we are already making the arc de triomphe, golden gate of versilles, Eiffel tower , and cute little cafes.
We have 72ft worth of wall on either side of the hallway. (link)
Hmm well since I'm class of 2012 I probably shouldn't help you, but I have some cute ideas ;-)
1. You could print out some pictures of wine and cheeses and tape them to peoples' lockers & write their names on the pictures (unless there are lots of kids in your class, in which case you could skip writing the names.)
2. Write some french phrases on some posters and hang them around the hallway. Make them colorful!
3. If you have any good artists in your class, have them draw some important artistic or historical figures of french culture and hang them up.
4. Get some girls together & figure out some nice outfits to imitate Parisian style.
5. If you're allowed to, have someone bring a boombox that plays music referencing the french, such as that new Ooh La La song.
6. Hang up some streamers of the colors of the french flag, or hang up some mini french flags on lockers or classroom doors.

Well that's all I've got for now, enjoy yourself & God bless :) !

there is this girl at my school her name is haley nesbitt were are friends and then were not and i dont want to be her friend what do i do. she wants to make me commit suaside (link)
Well I don't know exactly what this bullying entails, but I would advise you to stay away from her. Someone causing you to feel miserable about yourself and life is not your friend, and isn't worth your time. I know it's hard to break off a friendship, but in this case you really need to think of yourself first.
It's not a healthy friendship... so don't feel guilty about it. Just slowly distance yourself from her if you feel uncomfortable about being upfront with her. But do NOT be her friend or allow her to think she has any power over you.
God loves you, hope I helped =)

My boyfriend and I have been going out for about 4 months, and I want to break up with him simply because I don't like him in that way anymore. I haven't for the past month. Whenever he kisses me now, I get seriously disgusted and want to avoid more kissing at all costs. The problem is, my and this guy have been really good friends for about two years now and I do not want to lose him as a friend. He is so sweet and nice and I don't want to hurt him, but the feeling just isn't there for me anymore. But he thinks nothing has changed, because nothing has changed! I'm worried he's going to be totall shocked because there has been nothing leading up to this, no fade out. How do I break up with him so that we can still be friends? And do you think this will shock him because I really don't think he has any idea what's coming, he texted me that he loved me tonight and I feel so bad. Also, I only see him at lunch at school and I don't want to text the breakup to him but I don't want to arrange a date because he will get excited (and text me about the, um, stuff we're going to do that involves kissing- he always does that before dates.) But I don't want to destroy his day halfway through school. When should I do it? And I feel terrible, I don't want to hurt him. (link)
Unfortunately after a serious relationship, or sometimes even semi-serious relationships, it is extremely rare that a friendship is maintained. Catch him after school & explain to him that you feel you need to focus more on self-discovery and you think you need some time to think things over. Say you don't want to be in a relationship with him right now because it doesn't quite feel right. You don't have to be specific. While he will probably be somewhat surprised, it's worse if you lead him on longer. Explain to him that his friendship is precious to you and it means the world to your social life... but that you need him to understand what you need right now.
Hope I helped... sorry there's no easy answer! God bless & good luck :)

how can i run for longer periods of time and faster? (link)
Well, first of all make sure you're comfortable knowing your regular relaxed running pace. To improve your speed, run a few minutes at a casual conversation pace then run a minute or two at your race pace.
If you run a 5k a couple times a week for example, try doing 15 mins of speedwork to replace an easy run.
During your easy runs, start running longer distances. Add a half a mile or a mile and ease your way into it. As you run longer distances, speed will come in time.
Try running some 600's (about the perimeter of 2 soccer fields). My cross country team does that twice a week, and we do it four times. I run each lap in about 4:25 on average, and each day I do it I improve. Take a rest of a minute or so after each lap. 4:25 isn't the best, but I'm certainly getting better. So set some little goals for yourself and don't start out too intensely. Don't be discouraged if you have a bad day, or even a bad week!
Remember to have patience. It has taken me several months to improve my speed and distance. Lots of dedication is necessary! Your body WILL adapt, but DON'T over-train or you can lose fitness. I would advise against running more than five times a week, as it can really take a toll on your body.
Hope I helped & God bless :)
