I consider myself to be a "normal" teenage girl. There really isn't anything outrageous that separates me from others so I consider myself to be painfully average. I can say that I do have a level head and I find it easier to give out advice than to come up with advice for myself. Hopefully I'll end up helping someone.

Dress pants and a nice shirt should be suitable for formal plays. Basically anything that isn't a t-shirt or ripped jeans should do.
I am just going into the 6th and and alot of my old friends don't have the same classes as me, were are still going to be friends but I want to have some friends to spend the shcool day with too.I'm to nurves to go and talk to the other kids what should i do?
I had the same problem when I was in sixth grade. Most of my friends were in different classes and I had to get to know kids that went to school on the otherside of my town. Eventually I started talking to people at lunch or making comments during the schoolday to people. I befriended people that sat by me in class and even ended sharing a book with a cute boy in my science class. Basically, be yourself and be friendly. Don't be afraid of other kids or what they think of you. Everything will come together without you even realizing it, trust me.

can anyone please help me on my concentration on work. I just cant seem to concentrate on chemistry, history and math. Most of my classmates cant too and they blame the teachers, but what if it isnt their fault, please tell me how to concentrate on my work.
One way for me to concentrate on my work is to sit as close to the front as possible. It cuts off most distractions and if you aren't paying attention most likely your teacher will find out. Asking questions and getting involved helps a lot too because the more you know the more interested you will be. If you can't pay attention you might want to think about tutoring or staying after for extra help. It may just be that you don't completely get it and you need one-on-one time with someone.
There's this boy that I used to go out with, but broke up with him because I didn't like him like he liked me. But I happen to know that he still has feelings for me. Previously when I was talking to him and another one of my friends, he said he was tired of getting his heart broken, which really made me feel bad for breaking up with him. Now, there's this other boy who likes me, and asked me out. I turned him down because I didn't like him, and know he just keeps staring at me...which is really creepy. And now there is this other boy who likes me, but my ex doesn't know about, and I talk to him on a regular basis. And my friends keep telling me that he said that he wants to go out with me. Getting hurt is part of growing up. Eventually he'll have to learn that things can't stay the same forever, especially not based on feelings. Do what feels right for you and what is good for you. Your ex will move on in time, and it may help for him to realize that it's really over between you two.
I don't have the internet on my phone, how do I buy a a ringtone?! My brother taught me that you can switch sim cards with someone else who has internet, and I have done that, but the bill just goes on there bill and they have to pay for it!! It makes me feel bad haha. I also tried over the internet but then they just gave me a text message saying go to this site but I can't cause i don't have internet. Does anyone know how I can buy one without actually going on the internet on my phone? or a way to do that, but not have somebody else pay for it haha. Please and thank yous :)
Some cell phones have a feature that allows you to go to a 'store' on your phone with several things to buy. That's how I get my ringtones. The only other thing I can tell you, as cheap as it may be, record songs on your phone and assign them as ring tones. It works =]
ok so i like this guy, lets call him frank. and so frank has been my friend for like ever and gives hints about liking me, but apparently he doesnt, but just flirts with me to see if i like him just so he can feel like superior or whatever i dont quite get it..its dumb but true. so i told like my best like *guy friend* who i tell everything to, lets call him arnold ha. so arnold is all like no dont like him an dim like why whats wrong with him? and hes making up all these excuses that make no sence and im all confused. then im like why dont you want me to like frank! and he goes, because i like you, and signs off. i dotn know what to do! i dont want it to be all akward around arnold! and what about frank? please help! any advice/opinions work
If "Arnold" is just a friend and nothing more, make it clear to him. Honesty is the best policy especially with friendship and doing anything but be honest would be more harmful than admitting your feelings [or lack of feelings] to him. With "Frank" I can't help much. Sometimes you can't help who you like even if they don't share the same feelings toward you. All I can say is that if he's not going to return any feelings then he isn't worth your time. Everyone loves flirting and the feeling attached with a crush but don't let that feeling get too far. Trust me, it only ends up hurting.

Hm, this is kind of tough to answer, besides the seemingly generic 'you're not ready', but it seems as though he has your best interest in mind. Don't make any quick decisions, because as cliche as it may sound, having sex is a decision that you can't take back. Fourteen is a very young age, too young to understand most emotions. I'm sure you'll do what is right for you but you might also want to think about what is wrong for you. Weigh the consequences and your boyfriend's response and ask yourself why you made your decision. Thinking doesn't mean right or wrong but it always helps to just slow down a bit.

Sometimes dreams have meaning to them like maybe there are underlying feelings, but for the most part a dream is a dream. Sometimes they're just strange or random. It doesn't necessarily mean anything. Don't look too far into it =]

Ignore her and get a new friend. No one deserves a "friend" that will leave them for no reason. Find someone that is worth your time that won't leave you at the drop of a hat. Don't worry too much about it, because by showing her that you're worried you're showing her that she won whatever little game she was playing.

Any time that there is an unemotional involvement or any disregard for you it's a booty call. One of the examples I can think of is if a guy calls you to hang out with only one thing in mind or any situation where it's pre-determined that it's only sexual.

Believe it or not there are many people that wait longer than 13 to have a boyfriend and a first kiss. When you're becoming a teenager things are confusing and new to you and boys and kissing are much too complicated for that age. Even if people tell you otherwise you should know that 13 is the age where you're supposed to have fun being young while it lasts. The only way to be normal is to do what is right for you.

If you want him but can't have him the best thing to do is move along. You can move along or pursue him even though he has someone. If he felt the same way you did he wouldn't have a girlfriend to complicate things. Everyone's entitled to a crush but don't let it rule your life.

This might sound generic but the best thing you can do is be yourself. Judging by what you said about yourself you're probably not the most confident person in the world, just like myself. Glasses, shortness and weight aren't ugly. The only thing ugly in this world is personality and as long as you have a good personality you have everything you need. Focus on being 13 and having fun with your friends. Trust me, boys aren't as great as they sound.

It's very normal. Every girl knows or at least suspects that guys are a little different when it comes to crushes. I don't have all of the answers myself but I've learned that usually the best way to figure out what he says is to pay attention to the things his friends do or say. They tend to let things slip.

This may be kind of cliche but you could always make a mix cd of your favorite songs or songs that remind you of him. I really like making collages so I tend to make collages with pictures of my friends' favorite celebrities or pictures of us that just bring back memories. It's a cute and easy idea and it's creative so that might be a good idea for you.

It sounds like your friend is insecure. A good friend wouldn't go out with someone that you like. It's just the friendship law. There really isn't a definite way to get a guy first. You just have to find the right one that only has eyes for you. You shouldn't have to worry about getting a guy before your friend.

Flirting might seem too obvious of advice but it really can be the best way to tell if someone likes you. The next time he tells you he wants you to give him a hug why don't you just tell him that he should hug you. Flirting styles really depend on the type of person but smiles are universal. Give him a special smile and maybe he'll realize what you mean.
ok, i wear eyeliner from ULTA
and about an hour or 2 after i put it on, it all wears off or smears down.
what's a good way to keep eyeliner in place for a long time or what's a good eyeliner brand that doesn't smear and that stays on for a while.

Maybelline has been the best for me so far. It doesn't smear or wear off and it shows up well no matter what color. That might be your best bet, hopefully it works. If not you may want to try a nice quality of cosmetics like Mary Kay [another favorite of mine] or Avon.
what's a good, inexpensive (under like $8) tinted moisturizer that i can find at cvs? that will be smooth and cover redness?
I'm not sure if you would be interested in this but CVS carries maybelline's dream matte mousse. It's foundation but it's soft and easy to apply. I love it and I don't think it was over $8.
