Im 14/f and everyone in my school wears the same clothes. Everyone shops @:

I wouldn't be surprised if there were people who had any clothes other than ones from these stores. Anyway, I was wondering, If you are my age, are there any other stores you shop at that are pretty common, that have clothes sort of like these? (I live in MA, but anywhere you live is fine.) I would also say Forever 21 but look for stores that are not chain stores as well like stores where there are only one or two of that store owned by a particular person, they usually have more unique but still trendy items. If you go on vacation thats also a great time to shop. You get to see different stores and different trends.

Hey!
K so, I got a new babysitting job this weekend, and I havnt met the kids yet. All I know is that they are a three year old boy and a five year old girl. I have to babysit for about 6 hours, from 11 am to 5 pm. and I'm not sure if they are going to take a nap or not, but I need to try and find some things to do with them. Like I can take them out in the back yard and stuff, but six hours is a long time. Is there anything I can bring to get through the boring parts of the day? Oh, ps, it's supposed to rain, so I kinda doubt I will be able to take them outside for very long.

Yes art supplies, board games, and books are always good. Plus if you have any other toys in good shape from when you were little thats good to. Kids love anything new, (not litterally new just new to them) If the toy isnt from their house specifically their bound to be entertained by it for awhile. Go to even a dollar store and spend a few dollars on some new age appropraite toys, play dough, puzzles, books, or board games, if you dont want to bring or dont have your own.

The toyota prius hybrid it gets about 50 miles per gallon on the open road and a bit less in cities or stop and go situations.

ok sorry if this is long...
so i'm 14/f and in 8th grade. and back when i was in sixth grade me and this guy jamie really liked each other. but we always pretended we didn't, but we both knew we liked each other. then, half way through sixth grade he moved to hong kong, like actually to live there. we talked online a little bit and we both admitted that we liked each other. then during 3rd quarter that year i started going out with this guy ben. well, school in hk wasn't working out for jamie, so he came back for 4th quarter. but i was still going out with ben then, so jamie stopped flirting with me. but i dumped ben before jamie went back to hong kong, and then we flirted. so anyway, during 7th grade i talked to jamie a little bit and we both play tennis, so he said that over the summer we should play tennis together. well i forgot about it, but over the summer i got a call from him about "taking me up on that tennis match". so we played tennis and then he asked me to go to a movie with him, then he went back to hong kong. so then this year, he came back here for a week for his friend's bar mitzvah. he kind of talked to me a little, but very, very little. i think he liked me over the summer (maybe) but he's coming back this summer and i want to know what i should expect. i am willing to have a long distance relationship with him, but what should i do about it? call him when he's in town? we go to the same country club, so i'll see him at tennis, but i really want to have a relationship with him. what should i do? thanks so much (link)

Long distance relationships are tough but if you are willing to make it work then he might as well. You should think about how often he comes back to the states, if he comes back a few times a year its different if he only comes back say once a year. Yes, if you want a relationship with him you should call him when he's in town. See how it works out but if its very very akward after a few times of talking to him a long distance relationship might not work out. Remember it might be akward the first time you talk to him when he comes back because sometimes guys that age dont kno how to express them selves like they are not willing to say heyy I miss you soo much!!! like girls would guys will sometimes say nothing making it very akward. Anyway try to brake the ice if there is any, call him, and if hes willing and your willing to start a long distance relationship then its worth a try. Let me kno how it goes! I hope I helped!

Tanning beds are not a good idea. They are even more harmful then the natural sun itself. Take that from a girl whos father has had skin cancer. Luckily he is ok now but dont think that skin cancer cant happen to you because it CAN. I hope it doesnt happen to you but my best advice is go out in the natural sun with sun block OF COURSE! you will get a slight glow and then use a product like jergens which tans you gradually and gives u that so called healthy glow!

Hey...I'm looking for a place to find a dress for my 8th grade graduation. I want something that's formal but not like a prom dress. My price range is medium...I don't want anything that's like, cheap/bad quality (maybe between $100 and $200?) I guess I'm looking for stores like Macy's or Nordstrom (it doesn't have to be a department store though.)

Sometimes you have to spend more like at macys or nordstom but for something like 8th grade graduation you can get a dress at forever 21. Sometimes you will luck out or u may not see anything you like but its worth a shot. Their dresses also make great back up dresses because their only about thirty or forty dollars! Anyway pricy doesnt always mean good quality, although it can. You just have to be a smart shopper and examen the garment before you purchase it.

Has anyone used any Neutrogena facial product or products and has it made things better for them or worse?
Please tell me which product(s) you used and your type of skin (oily, dry, normal or combination). I've oily skin and I want to know whether or not it will work on my type of skin.

I use nuetrogena fresh foaming clenser. I have combination skin and am prone to acne. I find that this cleanser works very well and it leaves ur face feeling refreshed and clean!

at gym, we had to run 5 laps and i got out of breath.... i like running but i can only run so much, so i figured i should build up my stamina. i asked my mom if i could be one of those morning joggers, but she said no even when i told her i would stay on our street! if i run in the backyard, i have to dodge dog poop, trees, and my trampoline, plus i have to run in circles. i don't like running in circles.
i can't go to the high school track field everyday, and i can't join a gym or whatever.
how can i run everyday?
i really should do something to stay in shape, and i want to try running a little bit.
but where?
how can i convince my mom to let me run just on our street?
it would be so cool 'cause i have an ipod and i could use my moms athletic shoes.

Ask your mom to go with you! Im sure she would love to spend quality time with you and that would be a great way for both of you to stay in shape and spend time at the same time. I dont know what you relationship is like with your mom but my mom always loves when I try to include her in things Im interested in.

My friend goes on teen chat rooms and shes 13. She met a guy on there and they swapped addies . He said he was 19 while on the chatroom thn on msn told her he was 27 but couldnt say that on there.They swapped number and they talk all the time. She had a very had life and was raped at a young age. Shes always been fairly depressed since. No one other than me knows about the rape but know she trustin this guy of the internet an awful lot. She goes to him with problems and such . Im worried i dont see how she cant see this guy cant be right in the head to click ojn a 13 yr old on a chtroom. Im worried and will not tell on her.I dont know how to stop her talkin to him Please help!!

It may hurt ur friendship but you need to tell an adult!! She will probably be mad at you for awhile, but you would rather ur friend be mad at you then for her to get seriously hurt. In the end (it might take her awhile) she will thankyou.
