How do I get over a cold quickly? I started the coughing and runny nose like two or three days ago and I need something that will help this cold shorten so I can have a good weekend. Any suggestions on how to make a cold go away quicker? (link)

It depends if the page admin allow uploads to the Fan page picture gallery.
In the comment box on the wall there should be an image icon to add an image to your wall posts.

Is there a way to add new empty lots to sims 3? If there isn't then do you have to tare down houses to build new houses or put houses from the sims exchange in? It seems impractical that they wouldnt have a way to add empty lots, but i looked in the game and there didnt appear to be an easy way to do it. (link)

You can build on an empty lot, if you edit town
you will see tags on each building which will tell you the empty ones. they can also be changed from residential to community.
Sorry, you can't add lots unfortunately, but you can select from already placed lots.

When I try to let my fingernails grow out they always break and then they look really awful and uneven. I hate it. I am a cashier and I think that is part of the problem because they always seem to start breaking at work when I'm lifting lots of bags, cases of pepsi, or something around those lines. Is there any way I can strengthen my nails so that they don't break or have much less breakage? I want to have nice, long, beautiful nails but they always end up looking damaged. Is there something I can take, eat, or apply? (link)

I'm 14, in 10th grade now, and I'm due to have my cervical cancer vaccination, Gardasil, next friday, but since a girl died from it recently I've been looking into it more. I'm now having second thoughts because of some of the facts. Turns out that the Gardasil vaccination only helps to prevent four of the HPV strains out of over a hundred. That doesn't sound like such great odds to me anyway. Out of 700,000 girls 1,300 have had adverse side effects which includes paralysis, sight problems seizures, and sudden death. They haven't researched what the vaccine may do to you in the long-term future either...like the morning sickness shot they gave pregnant women years ago, that left babies deformed in the end! I'm afraid that this shot may cause other serious problems years later for me. I'm really scared about having it done! They say it only lasts 6 years so I don't really see the point in having it done if I'll be 20 when it wears off and haven't even had sex before then. I plan on waiting until I'm married before I have sex anyway. It's just my beliefs. Please help me figure out what I should do about the shot! What should I do? I don't want to do it now but I feel like I should or something...but then again I don't...ugh!!!!! HELP! (link)

I'm only 16 years old ,I as well have a 6 year old sister.
My mom is a drug attitic and was sober for 4 monthes after a 9 month relapse,which was the worst time of life for me.
Recently she began using again,she yells at me for NO reason,throws my stuff,tells me all this bad negative stuff and doesn't understand how much it hurts me .She usually goes in the middle of the night to get drugs and it wakes me up and I end up crying all night .She never cleans the house when shes on drugs and leaves it to me to do.She blames everything on me and just thinks everything is my fault and she promises all the time that shes done and she lies about it and covers it up with some story.I'm such a happy girl,I've never smoked and never done drugs and I don't need this negativity in my life.My father used to be a drug attitic as well but he doesn't yell at me or blame me ,he understands me...yet he just doesn't do anything.He lives with his mother now,so I can't turn to him.
She's gotten close to hurting me before ,but she hasn't...yet im scared.
She thinks that when shes on drugs,that she's no different from when she's not on them.Obviously thats false.I sometimes pack my stuff and stay at a friends house,but sometimes she threatens that If i dont come home,she won't give me money for things like food,clothes,etc. So I end up coming home,even though I just wanna stay out with my friends.

15/f so three of my best friends birthdays are coming up and i have no idea what to get them!
i was going to get one of my friends an ipod since she lost hers (some of us were gonna get together and put in like 20$ for it each) but her parents are getting it for her :/
so basically i need three really good and thoughtfull presents, there all turning 16 and their birthdays are all in the same week.
i got two or them rings last year, so not jewlery...

Definitely just attention seeking. The puppy will gesture in that way while you hold them as a way of telling you they want you close.

I'm 24 years old and my sister is 21. We both work for the same company. The company deals with developmentally disabled adults. She works in the actual office, and I work in the residential homes, taking care of our clients overnight. About 2 weeks ago I went over to her house and she told me something and made me swear once I heard it, that I wouldn't tell anyone because it could cost her her job. She went on to tell me that she stole pills from work. I instantly got mad. She's not this type of person AT ALL! She said she wouldn't of done it if she had known she could only get $1/pill. She told me this three weeks ago and it's been bugging me ever since. In no way do I want her to be unemployed but at the same time what she did was completely wrong. Her reasoning for doing it are ridiculous as well, she says that "it was bad, but not that big of a deal because the pills were going to be destroyed and thrown out." I'm the only one that knows, so if I say anything, obviously it will come back to me. I just don't know what to do! (link)

Speak to your sister and see if she understands how her actions are affecting you. You can then gauge if this is a "one-off" foolish action on her part or a habit likely to be repeated.
