Well, it's hard to tell, love is really hard to tell. If it is you'll recognize it in good time. Love is best understood when its reciprecated.
ok so i'm fighting w/ my bestfriend..and like now the "popular" girls are all sorta taking her side. and they decided to put mean things in their infos about me, and it doesnt say me but i can tell..and their so stuck up and snobby and they think their so much better than everyone else, when their just b*tches that spend their time talking about other people. and they think their so "popular" when more people hate them then actually like them. and i have a group of friends that love me for me and i'm happy with my life. so after hearing all this your probably thinking what's the problem? well even though i know i shouldnt let what they say get to me..it Really Really does..and it just hurts even though i know their not worth my time. :-( any advice? i rate high for effort..thanks..

Maybe its time to change your profile... people especially if you are still in school can be cruel for no real reason, If you make a concious effort to be happy and kind and just a wonderful person other people will come in and drowned out everthing the'popular' kids have to say... it is their job to be hurtful, to put people down to be in generall awful individuals, I know this because I was one of them. Until I started standing up for myself and having an opinion... and in the long run, I was a lot happier... when I first left them they were cruel and horrible and mean, but after a while, I found so many wonderful people that what they said didn't phase me anymore and they grew bored of trying to bother someone who didn't care about them. If you and your friend are close, it'll be able to be worked out... just remember that people change, and maybe your changing, its all fine... just keep being happy with your life, keep believeing that no matter what things will go ok, and you will do just great... and another thing, this will blow over in a while, and people will forget it completely, it may take time, but it won't be forever... best of luck to you.

I was wondering if anyone knew how much it is to be homeschooled. I just wanna know if it's a really lot of money or not. I've asked my parents so many times to let me be homeschooled and they just won't let me. They start yelling at me. My mom agrees that it's a good idea, but my dad doesn't think so. Me and my best friend are going to different schools next year, and she's really one of the only friends I have. I don't have very many friends. I'm in 8th grade now, so I'll be going into 9th next year. I've had alot of problems in 7th and 8th grade, and I can't stand the people cuz they are really mean. They make fun of me alot. If I can't be homeschooled, then I'm going to have to go to school and see alot of these people cuz most of them would be going to the school that I would be going to.They hate me for no reason. They just judge me before they even get to know me. I'm fine with the friends I've got, and I just wanna be homeschooled. Please let me know if you can if it's alot or not, and how I could convince my parents to let me be homeschooled. I was thinking I could ask them if i could be homeschooled next year and that'll be my only christmas gift. That's all I would ask for. I'm soooooooooooo very sorry that this is sooooooooo long. I just really wanna b homeschooled!!!!! Someone please help me or else i don't know what i'm going to do.
I don't know much about homeschool, I know it does cost more money, but I don't know how much or any thing like that. I'd say to just keep working on your mom, keep asking her and telling her how much you want it, and the more she's conviced the more you dad might listen to her... I can honestly tell you that highschool is a lot different from middle school, (I HATED middle school, it was just an awful time) but highschool is different, espicially if your going to a large highschool. Well here's my situation. My mother was seeing a man for awhile that seemed totally normal, well as time passed he began to become controlling and totally weirded out. He was suppose to be this guy living "the good life" with money ect. ect. Well things started to get weird whenever everytime we were suppose to visit his house the meetings would get "cancelled." After awhile he started to turn my mother against me. He convinced her that I was a hell raising child who needed to be locked up, and I needed help because I was "Ill in the head." All of this was far from the truth. Anyways, to make an extremely long story short, we found out he's not who he says he is, and he has a major criminal record, just got off parole for MURDER. He has an obsession over me (For God only knows what reason) and now the police are after him and he dissapeard before they got the oppurtunity to arrest them. This has brought so much strain on our family. My mom is constantly drinking, and I just can't look at her the same after the things she did to me because this psycho told her to. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what to do in this situation. I want things to be better in our house-hold after this, but I have no idea where to start to mend it back together. Sorry it's so long, thanks for the help.
Perhaps family counsiling, one of the things you have to do is make your mother realize that you want to fix everything, it might not all go back to the way it was, but if you make an obvious effort to try and fix and forgive she might realize what you are doing and try and help to, suggest to her counseling or some form of proffesional help. If money is an issue there are low cost centers out there. Best of luck to you.
hey, well i had this blackhead on my nose and stupid me picked it and now theres like a scab type thingie there is there any fast home remedy i can use to get rid of it, i heard after shave like kills the bacteria or something or toothpaste? any others?
I don't know about after shave, but tooth paste is a quick fix, only becareful because while it may help short term in the long run it can make zits/ blackheads worse. My best advice would be to take a long shower, and wash your face, when the scab comes off just stay in the shower a little longer, the steam in the shower will help loosen everything, and ( it doesn't always work, but often does) when you get out and dry off the scab will reform only it will be less obtrusive, and little easier to cover will make up and so on.
i have this friend, who never says thank you! never! this other friend of mine (whos super sweet!) does all this stuff for him all the time! and he never thanks her in any way shape or form! its really rude of him, and its starting to get on my other friends nerves, and i can totally see why! what should she do? thanks so much!
The next time she does something for him, and he doesn't say thank you, have her say 'your welcome' still sweet, but make it obvious that she's waiting for him to acknowledge what she's doing for him. Maybe it'll shock him into saying it.

I think that partially true, if you stop hunting for a guy you'll normaly find that there is one right there in front of you that you missed before... the only problem is that you have to be watching for it... if you close your eyes to it and just expect it to happen Mr. Right, will just walk by.
how do i lose weight if i always say im going to go on a diet but i never do because when i try to go on a diet somehow so many yummy junk foods come around.. i wanna not eat at all so i can be as skinny as mary kate olsen but i dont know how!? heelpp!!
Mary Kate Olsen is a stick with boobs presently... wanting to be that thin, or actually becoming that thin could kill you. If you ever want to have kids, starving yourself to that extreme could make it so that you will never be able to concieve.... becoming that thin, can cause you to lose your hair, and makes it so you look like a cancer patient... it may seem glamorous... but its not... Being that thin, or striving will only get you killed.
my parents get mad at me whenever i say something about religion that doesnt agree with their views. they tell me im to young to have an opinion about that kind of stuff. and i do. and im not that good at communicating. so should i just tell them that i believe in god? even though i have doubts?

I'm guessing your young, and I think its customary to have doubts about things, even your faith when you are that age. In my opinion faith and religion is personal choice, and while it may be important to you parents and family, I think you have to find what works for you, what you think in your gut is true. If you are having doubts about God himself, I suggest researching other religions... not to find a new religion, but to see and try understand what other people believe. I found that knowing what other people thought helped define what I personally believed on the matter. For example, you will find in most major religions, that the commandments hold true, they just aren't called the ten commandments in all religions. In my personal opinion, God reaches people (all people) in a way they will understand and accept, hence all the religions in the world today, Christianty couldn't be understood by everyone, so God reached people in a variety of ways that they would accept..... I think for the time being, it might be ok, to say you believe in God, until you figure out what you personally believe, if they ask, just tell them that you are trying to personally define god in a way that you understand. Sound good?
What are some ways to make money? Im only 14. And I have 2 ways so far, baby sitting and team read. You get paid for reading to elementary kids. What are some jobs for 15 year olds though? ( Im tunring 15 in 2 months ) thanks.
Some times fast food joints will hire, kids under sixteen, grunt work, cleaning and taking orders... some resteraunts will too... bigger floral shops sometimes hire younger teenagers to do the watering... again grunt work... but being that its almost winter that may not be an option... the down and dirty truth is that its really hard to find a job pre-sixteen... not impossible, just hard... I'm 14 / f .. I currently reside in PA. Well, the past 5 weeks have been the best weeks of my life because I haven't had to go to piano lessons. I know its a stupid theory but here goes. I hate PIANO! SO MUCH, i wasn't forced to start, but when i was 11 my best friend did it, and i wanted to be exactly like her, so i joined it. my grades have been suffering, and i think its because of piano, on sundays-wednesdays i worry about my piano lesson because my teacher is so mean. i wanna quit so bad, but how should i tell my mom, i think she knows i want to, but. i don't want her getting disapointed because i already quit band this yr because i didn't like it, she spent 1,000 dollars on a piano and shes been payin 12 dollars a week to let me go for like 3 years, what should i tell her? any help will get 5!
Is it the piano you hate or your teacher?... maybe, you could talk to your mom, tell her you aren't enjoying the piano like you use to, and that maybe a new teacher would help you appreciate it more, if you are continuing to hate it after you switch instructors tell her so, stay vocal about it, tell her about your progress... by keeping her informed, if she knows you aren't liking it even after an instructor switch she may or may not be more sympathedic to your situation.
Does anyone know any really good books about like teenage situations but is like a fictional story. (like the Gossip Girl series). I love that series and would love to read other books just like that! I'll rate. Thanks for your help.
I haven't read the gossip girls, so I'm not exactly sure what type they are... but I do have a few ideas that you may or may not like... Any book that Francesca Lia Block wrote, I can reccomend, some are better than others, my personal favorite is "The Hanged Man" another good one was "Wasteland" both by Block... Otherwise S.E. Hinton is a good writer, also Janet Fitch "White Oleander" its a little harder but still good

I think, in my opinion, he might be interesting in getting to know you more, and getting to know you better means getting to like you... my suggestion.... give him a call some random time, and ask him if he'd be interesting in wreking a little random havoc.... nothing bad, just goofey fun stuff, movies, costume shops, malls, coffee houses, just say your looking for company, some one to go with while you do something fun, don't call it a date... just call it having fun. If you share any classes with him and he's remotely intelligent, feign the need for tutoring... (it worked once for me) otherwise, hope that helps... give him a call

I really like this guy. I just figured out that I have really liked him for a long time. See, he used to like me last year and the year before, and the whole time I liked him too, but I was sort of in denile because let's just say that he's not the most popular. A lot of people think that he likes me too, but I'm not sure because he flirts with a lot of girls. Today I was at a party and he was there, so I was kind of flirting with him. I really wanted to know who he likes, so I told my friend, Leah to tell him that she knows who I like. She said that to him, and he asked who but she didn't tell him because she's a really good friend. Later, he came up to ME and asked who I like. I didn't tell him because he's one of those people who would tell everybody that I like him if he doesn't like me. He said, "I'll tell you who I like, but you gotta tell me who you like right after". I said OK and he came over to me and whispered in my ear, "I like Jillian." The problem is, my name isn't Jillian. Everyone knew he was lying, but i dont know if he likes me or some1 else! The worst part is, in like a month he is moving out of this country, and I was thinking about telling him that I like him on his last day at school, but I dunno. HELP PLZ! sry i know its long
It's great liking some one and everything, and maybe you should even tell him that you like him, but as far as a relationship goes, if he's moving I wouldn't start anything because once he's gone you'll just cry that much harder. I have a ex in Brazil, it was really hard to deal with when he left.
