well ive been doing this for about two or three weeks now and id like to get some peoples advice who have been doing the whole advice column longer than i....is there anything i should change. should i be alittle less harsh maybe not speak my mind so much i dont kno i would love someone to critique me thank in advance -me
I rather you tell me the truth about stuff than not to.Plus it's not like I have to look you in the face every day.
I am a senior in highschool and once i graduate i would like to go into fashion designing or interior designing. I have "shadowed" an interior designer before and have helped people in their rooms with designs. I am also curretly designing my prom dress and would hopefully some day like to design my wedding dress. Just one concern.... What if i am totally out of my league and really have no clue with what i am doing. What if i go to college and major in this and then find out that it isnt for me? I guess its just a concern i have been having for awhile now, someone please give me advice. KT
Me too!!! Your so not out of your league but how far do think it'll take you. When I go to college I'm going to be a lawyer ('cause I want to, not that I have to).You'll need a back-up plan so either do a double major or do what I do. I 'm going to take distance training at 'Thompson education direct'.
I'm now attending Art Instruction School.It's a distance education learning program. You should do something like that.You get extra credits at your designing school if you do well.

okay here is the problem.
my friend entered in a beauty pageant and she is in the finals and she had them send ME info so i could enter. but my mother won't let me. my mom is 53 years old and im REALLY bummed out that she won't let me. i feel that im very pretty and that i could even beat my friend if i wanted to (not that i want to beat my friend) is my mom afraid that im not pretty enough to be miss teen of the nations? or does she think i will get a big head? im not going to get a bug head because thats not me. my mom use to do all this stuff when she was younger. is it that she WAY old or am i not good enough for her?
anyways im on this site to GIVE advice no ask but i really wanted some advice.

Maybe your mother had a very traumatic experience when she was in the pageant. Do you know if she won or loss.Maybe it made her life a living hell with all the pressure. Maybe she's afraid that if your in the pageant, she might turn into a raging, teen-pressureing monster because that's what happended to her. Why don't you try to find out what's going through her mind cause you really never know.

ok im 13 8th grade 130lbs and feel weigh to over weight i want to look like a modle and im not doing this for the man of my dreams im doing this to look good. im pretty and got all the right looks but i feel to fat andi want to look good in a bikini aslo i want the man of my dreams to go woah!! when he sees me even thouhg he already thibnks that about me but he likes girlss like paris hilton and i kinda want her figure and everyones gonna say dont change you look for him im not im changing it so i feel good around him cuz right now i feel ot fat when im around even though everyone thinks im beautiful and skinny just help me do u think i could get liposection? or soemthing i have tried dieting but i just crave food to much but im trying to cut dwon on the fatining stuff im in a little bit of good shape i play soccer and lift sometimes but help me someone?
Well we have a match! I'm 13,8th grade,and 154 pounds but I think that I look good.You have nothing to be ashamed of.I had to prove to myself that I look good by being more social.I got a new friend and we go out like all the time. When i'm out at the movies or mall i dress comfortable yet cute. Now that that has boosted my confidence I feel cuter I look cuter too)

my guy friend has always had a crush on me and he would always- i htought. i always kinda took it for granted that he was there for me to be reassured that i was still attractive but i jsut found out that he really likes somebody else. any advice on how to deal?

Okay ,I don't want to sound like Dr.Laura or anything but you don't need him (okay ,maybe you do, but he doesn't need to know that).Don't try to play that"jealousy game" cause most guy friends are really serious dudes. He'll really get ,mad and think that you're some immature little kid that is jealous,takes people for granted, and is very envious of people who has hers. what you should do is NOT tell him how you feel cause i just did that last thursday and it wasn't pretty, but act like your happy for him.REMEMBER no relationship last forever and when they break up, go for it.All you have to do is be compassionate and at the right moment go in for the kill.

my boyfriend and i had sex 3 days after i got off my period, he bust in me. i don't start until the 15th but do you think there's a chance i could be pregnant if he bust right after i got off my period?
There IS a chance that you could be pregnant.Now I don't want to sound like I'm your mother or anything, cause trust me I know how it feels,but your letter sounds very immature and I don;t think you should be having sex if your under 15 under any cicurstances. As long as you are very protected it's kind of OK. But don't let him play you.
