Is there a way to stop a pregnant woman from drinking? I don't understand why it's not against the law. It's aginst the law to supply alcohol to minors, but it's ok to posion your unborn child? (link)

Dear Drinking Mother,
If the pregnant woman in question is 21 or over then they are allowed to drink. Its their decision what they do to the baby. I do agree however that this woman shouldn't drink while pregnant. Does she understand that things can happen to her unborn child? If she doesn't know then tell her, or show her what can happen if she doesn't get the message. Also if she still doesn't listen or doesn't care then keep the liquor away from her (hide it in other words). Do what you think though. These are just ideas.

My school is doing Aresnic and Old Lace, and I am playing Elaine. We will be doing some "stage-kissing" and I don't know what they mean by that. Could someone explain this technique? (link)

There is a technique for this as you've said. It probably involves angling your faces in a way so it looks like you're kissing but you're not. Or you could see what the people did in the movie version of Arsenic and Old Lace with Cary Grant. (Cary Grant is a guy)

Things with me and my boyfriend have just been fucking pointless for a while now. He left for the army and I'm away at school. We can't physically be together until Christmas and we can basically only communicate through letters.
Plus, I basically feel no attraction to him anymore. He's too naive for me and he thinks that we're going to get married and all of this other stuff that I don't have planned at all -- does he listen to me? Hell no!
So basically I need to figure out what to tell this guy. He thinks I'm his only reason to live. And that's a pretty scary responsibility to have. (link)

This seems pretty serious. Ok, if you don't want to be with him anymore that is perfectly ok. You need to sit him down and tell him how you feel (even if it hurts) he needs to know the truth. Tell him there are other reasons out there to keep living besides you. If he still doesn't get the message then try to have someone who you know he'll listen to help you get the message across. My roommates 21st birthday is on May 20th. We are beginning to plan a trip now. We live in Maine, and are dreaming of laying on the beach sipping on margarita's and daiquiri's in Florida.
So far it's going to be me (21/female-will be 22) her, and her 26 year old boyfriend. Her boyfriend wants to go to Orlando so we will be able to go to Universal Studios. I will be taking at least one day/night to go to Daytona to visit my brother and hopefully hang out on some beaches.
I'm asking advice from anyone who lives, or has visited Orlando/Daytona area. I want to know some interesting clubs, bars, beaches, etc.
I would enjoy spending the entire time at the beach, but my roomy's boyfriend would probably be more interested in watching movies and playing games. Got any ideas of what we can do together, and also different things apart? (link)

Dear vacation in May,
I've been to Orlando before so I can give you some of the beach skinny. There is a good on on the gulf side (the water is warm) and on the atlatic side is questionable on warmth. For theme parks check out Blizzard Beach and MGM. Theyre a lot of fun.

Well i have always been using pads, but i want to use tampons for a change. Can you keep a tampon in the whole school day without changing it, and then change it when you get home? My school day is : 6:45-2:45. Can you leave in a tampon that long? Oh and its ganna prolly be heavy. thanks (link)

As an answer to your question you shouldn't leave a tampon in the whole day. If you did (especially if your blood flow is heavy) you could have an accident. If and when you decide to make the switch change them every 2-3 hours if you use regular ones, if you use super then maybe 2.5-3.5 hours.

I am a senior this year. I will be going to college next year. Here is my problem. I don't know whether to choose a Nursing major or an Art major. My parents really want me to go for nursing, but art is what I love. Plus, most artists don't make a whole lot of money. What should I do? (link)

Its ok to be indecisive on what you want to major in. You can go into college undeclared and take classes in both subjects. Then later see what you like better. (you can always minor in one subject and major in the other) Don't worry about money, what matters is doing what you love.

This might be long but I need all the help I can get...heres whats going on...I started going to this school and no one there liked me and no guys liked me or anything and I had no friends and the friends that I did have ended up backstabbing me, and I'm A very nice and careing person and i'll do anything for anyone who needs help with something or just needs someone at all, and right now I really need someone, I see all these girls who are so pertty and I wish I was pretty, these days people dont care about personality or whats in the heart they care about looks and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to make myself look pertty, I wish I had the things that other girls have like the clothes and the looks but I dont have money..heres what I look like...I'm 5'4-5'6 I have long red hair blue eyesand I weigh about 120-125 i'm skinny and everything but I want to look beautiful...does anyone have any ideas on how what I can do to make myself look attractive? I know this all sounds stupid but i'm going to go back to the school I went to and I want people to notice me and guys to like me but I dont know what I can do to make that happen so I am asking yall for help, if anyone can help me with this I will rate really high, thanks!-signed wants to feel wanted (link)

You could always learn to sew and come up with your own unique styles. (this doesn't necessarily take a machine, it can be done by hand). Also try to believe in yourself because then the guys will notice more. I know because I too am shy and guys don't flock to me either. Just remember to be yourself overall.
