okay, my boyfriend is in JROTC, and he invited me to the military ball, but i'm not really comfy wearing like the dressydresses you have to wear to go to those, im VERY modest, and also, hes shorter than me, so i wouldnt be able to wear heels, what should i wear? any ideas? i cant tell him i dont want to go because i dont want to dress up because he's really excited that i'm going and i couldnt do that to him. i need HELPPPPPPPP!

if you dont feel comfortable wearing dressydresses then just find a cute skirt with a nice shirt or nice pants like black pants or really nice jeans(no holes or grundgy looking) with a nice shirt and jewerly. and forget the heels just wear nice sandals or shoes. trust me he will just be glad your going with him. and if he really cares about you and likes you for who you are he wont care what you wear.

So I love my boyfriend very much but sometimes he's just always there. Latched on to me like a leech. Don't get me wrong.. i know just what you mean. my bf drives here everyday to see me weve been going out for almost 10 months. sometimes i kinda dont want to make it obv that i want time for myself so i ask him "if you dont want to come over its alright ill understand if you just want time to yourself" haha but most of the time hes just like no no its alright haha so if that happens just talk to him.. be like hey im a girl and sometimes i just need some time for myself. im sure he will understand.

I really want to go to my absolute favorite bands concert this year. However, my parents refuse to let me go. Ive already approached them very maturly about it, offered to pay for myself, said i can go with my 17 year old friend (im 15) and what not. They say there is drinking and drugs done at concerts. They say even if you dont take any drugs, if someone near you has them, then you are associated with them, so you can get in just as much trouble. Does anyone have any ideas on how to convince them? make sure they know your mature enough to handle a situation where there will be drugs and drinking. tell them they are going to have to let you go out sooner or later and why not now! they will never learn to trust you if they dont give you a chance to prove it. i have gone through this problem myself and my parents have found that im mature enough and now i can pretty much do anything .. almost.haha hope this helped!! and i hope you get to go! and if you do HAVEEEEE FUNNNN!

OMG!! there is no need to worry at all... im going into my junior year and ive switched schools every year. i know your worried about getting lost or not having someone to sit with at lunch and all that jazz haha i was in your shoes but its not bad AT ALL its actually a blast! being as its school haha you'll make good friends.. and your high school year will be the best experience of your life.. it was for me!! well just dont worry about it youll be fine!!!

ok this might really sound stupid but anyway yeah i use to cut myself too it felt like when i got mad thats what i could rely on to make me feel better then i started going to see someone to talk about it like a doctor person and after a few months of that i didnt want to go anymore but still wanted to cut myself my bf started getting pissed and saying that me doing that would be like cheating on him and not to do it (he just said that so i wouldnt) so after that i could do it anymore so i got this paper back book and completly wrapped it with ductape and now when i need to take my anger out i just cut the book up like i would do with my wrist doing that has stoped me from cutting myself. i really hope i helped.

ok so not to confuse, let's give names:
my friend: sara
her best friend: liz
liz's boyfriend: bob
bob is trying cheat on liz with sara. he's asked sara to have sex with him, take pictures of herself and give them to him, etc. sara refuses and has put up with this for a while, and then finally told liz. liz believed her at first and then i don't know what happened. sara tried calling liz and liz's mom answered saying that liz wasn't available. sara asked when she would be and she said, for you, never. sara is devastated and can't understand why liz would do this to her. (liz and bob are still together, btw). what can i say to comfort sara? is there any way i can help the situation? (link)

start hanging out with new people because being depressed isnt good at all ive been through that it seems like your friends like to be cool around guys i know how it is its like they are like really cool when its just you and them then when it comes to hanging out with guys they just like to put you down and make you look like a retard my advice is just to get new friends you dont need that.and if there is no one else to hang with just be solo at least you wont let yourself down. hope i helped and good luck!
