I recently took several career, value, aptitude and personality tests at university. One of the questions included how much you value making a significant amount of money. Of course I want to be rich, but why do people always say that money can`t buy happiness?

I think that if I could buy a boat, a nice car, a nice house and go on vacations without stressing too much over money that I would be happy. Should I choose a career (which I hopefully like) just because I can make a lot of money?

Q: Well, I moved to the USA when I was six, ten years ago. I left all my family behind. Well, my aunt recently remarried and moved to a town (San Francisco) an hour away from us, and my cousin has just arrived a couple of days ago and will be living with my aunt and his step dad. We are going to visit them tomorow.

The thing is, that I barely know him. He is a really cool person, VERY smart, funny, etc. I really admire and look up to him. But I only visit him like once every two or three years, so we never got a chance to have a real friendship. Well, I will be seeing him quite regularly now, probably about once every two or three weeks.

I know what you are going to say: just be yourself, play games together, teach him English (which he already knows). But I can't really be myself when I'm around him. Where he's from, I would be considered a spoiled, pampered little girl. For example, I like to go shopping, paint my nails, straighten my hair, listen to the kind of music that there is considered very barbaric. All of these activities are only seen in the very rich, spoiled girls.

Also, education wise, I am far behind (by their country's standards). I would probably be in fifth or sixth grade math if I were to go to school there. Also my writing suffers horribly, and I make grammatical errors worse than a second grader's. And I was homeschooled for a while, and my mom taught me how to read and write in that language, and, well, I suck. There's just too many spelling rules that I don't get and forget.

How do I appear like I am smart and funny to my cousin. I mean, should I hide the things that I do from him, or should I flaunt them. Like I'm smart, but by American standards. He always says witty things, and he is multi-talented. I really want him to willingly be friends with me, not just because we are related. We have nothing in common, I can't really teach him anything, and he can teach me loads but it probably won't be very fun for him. =/ We just led different lifestyles, and were brought up differently, were exposed to different problems in life. We are like from two different worlds. He is actually from Ukraine, so I guess you could say he has lived half a world away my whole life.

ok, my friend mel, is dating this guy, and hes super nice and everything. but his friends like suck so bad. and my friend mel is going through alot of other stuff too. well, she hasnt been able to see her boyfriend in a long time. soo, she wanted to give him something. well they both have bunnies. and they always talk about there bunnies. well, so mel was gonna give him a little stuffed animal bunny. i mean, i dont know.. i thought it was kinda cute. anyways, so my friend mel, has a best friend named callie. and callie lives like a half hour away from the mall. so shes like, well fine, ill go up there and give it to him. well, callie is really really really shy around people she doesnt know. and like, i mean, she has nothing against kids that wear all black or anything, but i mean, come on, when you see those kids in the mall, and there not laughing and just look unhappy, its not like your getting the best vibe from them, yano? so she got kinda scared. so she left it like under this little table. and she called them and told them exactly where it was. and so then they were calling her allll of these mean names. like it was so bad. oh and mel wrote a letter to her boyfriend. and all of his friends were like, this is such bullshit, this sucks. how stupid. i thought it was gonna be better. so then mel felt really stupid. oh and her boyfriend never said thank you. so yeah. mel now thinks she should break up with him, because they were all being so mean to her best friend, and all that.

Q: ever since i got my period this month, it has smelled funky down there. the first couple days of my period smelled, then it stopped. now it smells again. its not like i dont wash down there and keep it clean, because i always do. i even use these little "fresh n up" wipes to clean. what could this smell be from and how can i stop it? i dont think i have any infections, because i have no simptoms of an inection, that i know of.

Q: hi. i go to a catholic school, and so, we dont really have alot of those kids that where all black, and are just negative about everything. we just dont get those kids. so anyways, shes dating this kid from a public school. and he is soo sweet. like hes super nice. i mean, really nice. but his friends.. are the biggest asses ive ever met. my friend mel is like going through so much. and these guys arnt helping. her parents are getting a divorce. and like, her family was close, and so yeah. its just not goin good for her. well, she couldnt see her boyfriend, and her best friend [and my best friend] callie, was gonna be at the mall. so shes like ok, ill give it to them. well my friend, callie. is like shes just peppy and just preppy and just always happy and always like, yano. so, when she saw these kids, shes like, k no. im not going over by them ,they dont look nice. basically, she was scared. anyways, callie suffered from being anorexic and came close to death. well, callie just dropped it somewhere, and called them and told them where it was. and they were like, omg your so effing lazy, you fat ass just bring it to us. and saying so many mean thinggs. and so callie was like crying. well, now mel thinks she should break up with her boyfriend, should she?? yes, or no?
