you people are wrong.
those arent canker sores you dont get those on your tounge.
theyre just swollen or irritated taste buds. you get them from eating to much sugar or acids.
put ice on them and take ibuprofen. if you want fast relief clip them off VERRRRY carefully with nail clippers or nail scissors.

my friend has colored contacts and she only wears them when shes not wearing her glasses. I was wondering, is there such thing as colored contacts that you can wear every once in a while, even if you have 20/20 vision. if there is such thing, is it bad for your eyes? what could it do to your eyes? and how much money would they be?

the person under me is wrong. you CAN wear colored lenses (cosmetic lenses) but you must have a prescription. it is required by the FDA because the contacts need to be fitted to your eye so they do not cause health problems. they cant do anything to your eyes IF your eye doctor prescribes them to you. although, you can buy them online without a prescription, it is illegal, and those could cause health problems.

ok, i'm looking for a site that will sell colored contacts the aren't prescription. I don't know what the "power" thing means on every website I find, but I think that means they have to be prescribed. I have perfect vision, I just want a different color :] thanks! (link)

even though you have perfect vision, you still need a prescription for cosmetic lenses (colored or special effects) because they have to be fitted for your eye, or it will cause health problems. the FDA by law requires a prescription for ANY lens, whether its cosmetic or for health reasons. so try going to your eye doctor and see whats best for you.

Ok, so well last year, i was kind of the queen bee of my grade.
then all my best friends left my school.
so i settled for the coolest one out of all the girls;
one girl who i fought with last year and this new girl.
they would always leave me (as in not wait for me if i was getting my stuff after class)

Can you be born with herpes, or just have it somehow? My boyfriend and I have never had sex, but we have done oral sex which I know transmits the herpes virus. But since both of us are virgins is it even possible for us to have the std? He had three cold sores in his mouth and complained of a headache for the past several days. Everybody is born with herpes 1. Some peoples become active and some peoples dont. I guess it just depends on your genes. It sucks though. Hope I helped :].

I swim for a swim team and every summer i get swimmers ear and it is always really bad like drainage kind, It is starting to happen again but is there something that like really works to get rid of it, i've already tried cheap riteaid stuff and it doesn't work! HELP! (link)

DONT PUT RUBBING ALCOHOL IN YOUR EAR. Use a cap full of hydrogen peroxide, leave it in for about 30 seconds, and then pour it all back. A heating pad will also help. Hope i helped.

ok well, i got kicked in the ear ( i was in the pool) and now it feels like it has a bucket full of water in it and it wont come out. it feels like its all swollen up and it hurts all the time. i mean like really bad. it's like a throbbing pain and if i touch it it just makes it ten times worse. it drains water sometimes. should i go to the doctor? what should i do. how long does it take to heal??

Sounds like swimmers ear. Which is what I have. It sucks, but its recomended that you go to the doctor. Heres a website that will tell you all about. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/swimmers-ear/DS00473. What you could do to relieve some of the pain, is get a cap full of hydrogen peroxide pour it into the ear that hurts, leave it in for about 30 seconds and then let it all drain out. And take some tylenol, advil, or motrin. Hope i helped :].

So here's another 'I'm unconfident and fat and blah,' kinda question. Sorry, everyone. :P
Alright, so I've recently stopped exercising as much as usual, because cheerleading isn't as active as usual, at the moment. I've also been letting myself pig out more often, and then I feel so guilty, afterwards.
Beings I don't have a treadmill or anything, I don't work out much, either, because 100 curlups a night didn't work, and I'm not allowed to do more. (mom wont let me exercise too much.)
I can't really diet, because my mom already thinks I've got an eating problem, and all the food from the grocery store my parents get is always fatty and all. I feel like I'm so fat, but she dosen't see it, or dosen't want to. I mean, she's almost as thin as I am, and it makes me feel weird, because she's skinny, but being next to her makes me feel fat, aswell as being next to some of my friends.
So, I don't know what to do.. I'm going away, soon, and I don't know if I should try to just eat alot less, because it's academic, so I wont be able to work out much. I also don't want to creep out my room mate I wont know, by working out all the time.
I'm 14 years old, I weigh about 98 pounds (I'd like to get to 90) and I'm about 4'11'. Should I be worried? If so, what should I do about it?
I guess the reason I feel this way is especially that I'm a flyer in cheerleading, and one of the girls complains ALOT that she's got ALOT of weight in her hands. And then my other base, who dosen't seem to like me too much, pointed out that I weigh almost as much as she does.
Next to that, I've just got myself in the mindset that I'm just fat. I hate feeling like this, too. I always at 10lbs to my scale, almost to scare myself into losing weight, but nothing's helping.
What bothers me most, though, is my stomach. I worked for so long to get tight, fit abs, and now, it's all flabby (in my opinion). It sticks out, and as much as I suck in, there's a little pouch, and it just bothers me so much. Especially when I sit, it seems to 'roll', lol.

I got a perm like a year ago and its still in!!! it doesnt look good when i scrunch it though, so i just have to straighten all of it. But i have gone to the pool like A LOT and my hair is really starting to feel dry...which i dont like...
i konw the straightening, perm and pool together only ask for my hair to be dry...but i reallyyy take good care of my hair and i put lots of product on it before i straighten it. Is there anything that i can put on my hair after i go to the pool?? I cannot do the thing where you put conditioner on your hair before getting in the pool and leaving it on. Right now the only thing that works is this moisture-lock face mask...i put it on my hair and it works really well!! but i'm almost out and it was a sample so i'm wondering what other products would work. i have a shampooo and conditioner for dry hair that i use regularly. i know this was long so thanks for everyone who answers and i will rate!! If you wet your hair with cold water before you get in the pool. Chlorine won't get absorbed by your hair because its already wet.
