Why do some people care so much about their eyebrows?

Question Posted Wednesday September 18 2019, 3:47 pm

I don’t understand it, some people can’t go anywhere in public without doing their eyebrows or their eyebrows being ‘on fleek’, even within my college, people feel uncomfortable when their eyebrows actually look good (even though they think they look terrible) and natural. The thing is eyebrows are just eyebrows- you go to college to learn, not to focus on your eyebrows. Natural eyebrows look far better any day- I especially can’t stand this stupid thick tattoo eyebrow trend. I’m male, and know many people my gender who care about their eyebrows too- I don’t understand why either gender cares so much. My eyebrows are completely untouched, and therefore look like natural human eyebrows. It’s annoying hearing people always complimenting them, because they say stuff like ‘ I wish I had eyebrows like yours’- maybe you would if you didn’t follow all these stupid trends, like those dark black Sharpie looking painted on eyebrows everyone had 4 or 5 years back.

Honestly I think people who feel the need to fill in their eyebrows/have perfect eyebrows all the time are VAIN.

Your eyebrows aren’t even actual body parts, so don’t understand why that’s many people’s top priority.

I’ve never actually had a girlfriend because most of my generation are too obsessed with their phones, and following the trends, even though I much prefer natural eyebrows and don’t know how ANYONE could prefer the tattoo look. They look creepy as hell (maybe it’s because I have autism and notice the slightest little detail, but natural will always be better in my opinion). And I don’t want people to get annoyed with me for saying this but physical attraction is just as important as personality attraction in a relationship- if there’s no physical attraction, there’s no sexual compatibility, and honestly I’d freak out if I had sex with someone and they kept looking at me with those stupid looking tattoo eyebrows. The issue is I can’t find any women whose eyebrows are completely untouched, meaning there’s no physical attraction to them. And again, I don’t want any hatred for this statement, but some people might say ‘some eyebrow artists make them look really natural’, but that’s complete bullshit, as I notice even the slightest difference in a person’s appearance, a person’s voice (as a kid, I could always tell when a voice actor was replaced), even the slightest difference of a specific location

I literally couldn’t care less what my body parts look like- some men my age care about the size of their penis, even though I couldn’t give a f*** about what my body parts look like. As long as they’re clean, that’s really all that matters to me.
