how can you tell if you are having an anxiety attack? is this the same thing as a panic attack?

You can tell you are having an anxiety attack by well my heart sort of races and I'm a little short of breath. Once the thing that is making me anxious goes away, it stops.
A panic attack comes out of absolutely nowhere. You are filled with terror and you feel like it's a heart attack or you're going to die. They are dizzy, nauseous, and out of breath.
