What is an infection that appears to be yeast, but both man and woman can get it and its treated with a pill

Just to clear the yeast infection thing up, men can get a yeast infection as well. Especially with unprotected intercourse. As for what it is, I doubt anyone can tell you, your best bet is to call and speak with your physician, and ask what the diagnosis was. It could be vaginitis, or it could have been a sexually transmitted disease. Either way, if you want to know exactly what it was, your best bet is to speak with the physician who treated you, and ask for that information.
