I'm a horror fanatic, so I can give you some advice here xD. You want to watch a scary movie that isn't too scary... I've gotten to the point to where things do not scare me anymore, but I am capable of distinguishing the levels in movies.

The Ring, The Grudge, Sleepy Hollow, Friday the 13th, One Missed Call, Nightmare on Elm Street, Zombieland, Return of the Living Dead... It all really depends on what genre you would prefer watching honestly. Do you want monsters, living dead types, slasher, ghosts, english, or foreign, with comedy, or all serious.

For comedy horror (I feel you'll be able to get a bit scared, but the comedy breaks the ice nicely) Return of the Living Dead series, ZombieLand, Night of the Creeps, BioZombie, Zombie Dearest.

Slasher flicks - Nightmare on Elm, Friday the 13th.

Ghosts - The Ring, The Grudge, missed call. Also, Dead End is pretty good.

Monster type flicks - You could go for The Mist, Alien, Alone in the Dark, The Host.

Hope this list was helpful enough, and big enough to help you choose something.
