I've decided to take the birth control pill. I'm really scared that it will make me gain weight though.. what can i do to prevent it?

A good way to fight weight gain, I would suggest exercising regularly, and eating properly. Different birth controls have different side effects. I would suggest reading the pamphlet that came with your contraceptive. It tells you all the reported side effects as well as studied side effects. If you have any questions about your medicine that you wish to have properly answered, call your pharmacist or your local physician. They can give you all the information that you wish to know.
