Does he like me or what the hell is going on?
Relatively long question, I genuinely appreciate all the help!!!!!
Whenever I borrow things from this guy, why does he over fiddle with them when I give them back? Like once his pencil fell on the floor under my desk and it was out of my reach so I kicked it back to him, and then he remarked it was dirty or something and wiped the pencil on his shirt a couple of times. my shoe hardly even touched it, and isn't dirty looking, tbh. and then another time i borrowed a calculator and he said some remark about me not doing anything to it or w/e and then when I gave it back he fiddled with it for about 2 minutes, like just the calculator and its case
and he also likes to make drum beats on the table and on his lap a lot, like for longer than just a moment. and when he walks by me he walks kind of slow and may add something to his walk and i'm often afraid of looking up to look at him cause there's a good chance he's looking at me when he does this. i mean i talk to him occasionally, we have similar music, and are both like geeky, relatively nerdy, loners (he's less of a loner than me, though, but he's not part of any cliques or anything). we have a similar sense of humor, too.. like quirky and sarcastic in a way. but when i talk to him I don't know how to take what he says. I don't know if we're even friends or what, but we talk at least a couple times every class, and when we're not talking it's like awkward tension before we start talking again. we usually talk like right at the beginning of class, and he seems enthusiastic then, and then it sort of dies off, but there's still the tension
why would he do weird things like this? and why does his body sometimes like face mine directly? i have a crush on him so normally my feet face him, but i've noticed that sometimes he'll legit be facing me even if he's not looking at me, or sometimes i'll actually find him staring at what i'm doing or something for longer than a glance and it makes me awkward cause idk what to say or to think. do you think he may like me or not? why would he be doing this? haha. sometimes i'm afraid to see if he's looking in my direction when we're sitting (we're right next to each other) cause idk what to do with the eye contact and i'm so awkward
