Hi i'm from a christian family i'm male 15 my parents are really religious i'm not a religious as them but i go to church and pray to god and i have read parts of the bible and i feel like i'm close with god but lately i feel that i want to read more of the bible and i really want to get closer with god so do i pray a lot more? how can i get closer with god?

Hey thank you for asking(: I am a christian myself, and i Think your doing really good! I honstly think your doing all the right things! Just continue reading your bible every day like a chapter, until you hopfully make your way through it. Make sure you keep trying to go to church every Sunday, and pray atleast once every night before bed, and even more would be good. Those are somereally good ways to become close to God just by what your already doing. Another way to come close is just to live your life as the bible says and of course everyone makes flaws I know I do haha. Just do the best you can with that, and you'll be doing good. One more really good way to become closer to god is to give all of your problems over to him and let him help you with them, and he will! trust me just trust in him. I don't know if you know about how you go to heaven or not, not rying to preach to you but just leting you know (THIS IS A BIGGY) which is to get saved, not babtized this is not required but being saved is, you have to be saved to go to heaven. You can do this in private or at your church. All you have to do is pray to the lord and ask him to save you and tell that you belive Jesus Christ died on the Christ to save us from our sins, and that you believe he is the almighty and powerful god, and for him to save you for you to one day be able to go heaven when you die. Thats all you have to do to go to heaven(: I did this when I was 8, but when getting saved it doesn't matter how old you are.
