Do people understand stereotypes? I love Rock and Underground Hip Hop/Rap. But lots of people don't consider "Hip Hop/Rap" as music because it doesn't have "Human emotion" and they say its pointless. But its not. The mainstream and negative rappers have formed stereotypes. See, there are mature rappers who give knowledge & wisdom, but nobody notices the good side of rap because its not popular. They talk about the meaning of life and how certain things aren't good for us, and lots of good points. Am I the only one? Who wants to be misjudged by their misjudged genre of preferred music?

I am not very much into rap and hip hhop but even I know thatthere are rap artist that sing about life, politics, and other good things. Unfortunately, like you said it's not very popular. All I can say is listen to what you like. If people misjudge you, let it be. I've always been misjudge because of the music I listen to. And I listen to a lot of things. But listen to whatever you like and ignore everyone else. ]
