should i take plan b to be super safe as well?

I'm planning on getting on birth control soon but my boyfriend is coming home wednesday and i want to have sex with him. Obviously we're gonna use a condom but should i take plan b too to be extra safe? I definetly can't do pregnancy right now. and how much is plan b ?

I would honestly suggest waiting until you have been on your birth control for at least one week. Should you decide not to wait until your birth control, Plan B can be used AFTER intercourse, and up to 3 days after. Plan B varies in price from area to area. But typically no more than maybe 60 dollars for what I believe is a two pill packet. You can obtain plan b from any drug store, such as CVS, Walgreens and the like. In most states you HAVE to be 17 years of age or older I believe, and that is with possible parental consent. You could always call and ask your local pharmacies as well to get the information you need.
