Valentines day is next month, an I want to do something absolutely amazing for it with my boyfriend. Im 18, and money isn't an issue cuz I have a job. I just want it to be something he will always remember, and something romantic. Any ideas? I have some of my own, but I want more. I want it to be over the top.
Plus I need gift ideas. haha. Thanks!

Fearne answered Monday January 24 2011, 2:52 pm: By personal experience, things are very meaningful when they are made (or partially made) for you. For instance, if you're artistic, a sketch or painting of the two of you could be a nice touch, or if you're a writer, a journal about times you've spent together is also romantic. If you want to go down that route, just think of your talents/interests, and play to them.
As for the day out, maybe there's something you've always talked about that you've wanted to do, or a place you want to go together? Personal things are usually a lot more unforgettable than material things, in my opinion :) Hope this gives you a few ideas.
For my year anniversary with my boyfriend, I cooked us a fancy dinner at home without telling him what i'd made (but i knew he'd love it), bought him his favourite fragrance and also wrote him a letter to go with it - it was simple, but very memorable for us :) [ Fearne's advice column | Ask Fearne A Question ]
