breaking up is hard to do 24/F
So, I broke up with him so he could find himself ... He lost himself even before he went to Iraq and is looking for answers in me ... I dont have them and im in search of my own. I know I suck so much right now for breaking his heart so soon after he got home but, I felt I was doing him a favour He needs to find who he is Take care of his feelings for a change, he gives too much of himself and is running on empty ... what are the chances that I "broke" him ... just how evil am i?

with Sir Winston Churchill being a 1 and Josef Stalin a 10, to a soldier, you're an 11. I'm sorry. you have fulfilled every soldier's worst nightmare. Jody has struck again.
if things weren't working out, don't worry about it. its not like Iraq is busy nowadays. He'll recover from the breakup and you'll both get on with your lives. but on a side note- never break up with a soldier in the following time bracket:
2 months prior to a combat deployment until at least 30 days after the deployment. if you held off past that, then I take back the evil comment. its like breaking up with someone over the phone.
keep your chin up, kid, unless you're Boxing.

*EDIT*
you really should have included those details in your question. man-children have no breakup exemption window, especially if they're making you wake up at 1 am. the reverse should be happening. I would wake up at ass-odd hours to talk to my girl because I'm the asshole that chose to be in the army, not her. dude was a retard, you should feel no remorse for ridding yourself of him. ]
