i haven't gotten my period yet and I am 13! Is there something wrong with me?

ok im almost 13 and i havent gotten my period yet.is that normal??

Hello, Hun this is completely normal. Children hit puberty at all different ages. I know it seems awful now, but once you start your period you'll be glad your body decided to wait, haha. Just kidding. Anyway, to make you feel better think of it this way my best friend did not start her period until she was 17 and she is now 23 and a mother to a perfectly healthy baby girl. Just because your body wants to wait a little bit doesn't mean anything is wrong.

yes it is totally normal for girls your age to get their period some girls don`t get their periods untill their 18 if you dont have it by then go see a gyncolygist hope that helps!
