Hi, i just saw your answer to getting teeth pulled. I also need to get 5 pulled and im scared out of my mind. 5 is a lot and im afraid that it will hurt a lot.

They numb you. First the novicane shot, and then they knock you out. Thats why whenever someone gets their wisdom teeth pulled, they are all loopy. Its the laughing gas they give them so they don't feel anything. It probably won't hurt while your teeth are being pulled, but after the novicane wears off, the after affect might hurt.

I had to get a few teeth pulled before I got my braces. It didn't hurt very much. The only thing that was slightly painful was getting the novocaine, but that doesn't last very long. The actual removal of the teeth didn't hurt at all, but it definitely felt a little strange. There's no need to worry, it's a very routine thing. Your dentist will know what he/she is doing.
