when you're pregnant do you still get a period sometimes?

Question Posted Saturday October 16 2010, 3:31 pm

I took a pregnancy test like 2 months ago and it was positive. So, I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant here, especially since I've been having all the signs, too. Today I woke up and I had blood in my panties and I really don't feel good. I know I read some place something about women having their periods in the beginning of pregnancy sometimes. Is this blood what they mean or is something wrong?

There are many different reasons that a woman may have vaginal bleeding during pregnancy. Some women can continue to have light periods or spotting during pregnancy, especially during the first few months. but go see you doctore just to check.
good luck x :)

It could be that nothing is wrong, often times women experience spotting during their pregnancy. Which is usually not a lot of blood, just small amounts.
But if it is a lot of blood and you experience cramping or discomfort there may be something wrong and you should probably go to the doctors, if anything just to be on the safe side.

I mean even if there is nothing wrong, it is best to tell your doctor about it just to be extra careful.

hope everything is okay.
