MATT: this actually isn't advice how do you send people messages on this site? I kind of just joined. It's really helpful.
I hope this isn't akward because we're total strangers, but I'm just going to say: YOU'RE FUCKING AWESOME. So, yeah, people call you rude on here. But I like your advice probably more than anyone else's on here. Well, there's some person with the word "ninja" in their name that's pretty good... but yours isn't sugar-coated or dotted with smiley faces. It's down to earth and makes me realize sometimes: "WTF am I crying about? I'm alive and breathing. now shut up."
things that make you epic:
1. You appreciate good typing skills.
2. You seem really smart, some of your answers are actually prophetic at times.
3. You admit that you're rude and judgemental sometimes and you don't try to please anybody.
4. But you actually do give advice to people that need it.
5. You realise that texting is NOT vital to your survival, ALL YOU ADDICTED TEENS.
Soooo, yeah. I'm pretty new to this website, but I was looking at your column and thinking, "I would be friends with this dude."
LOL, and for some reason, your "Lady Friend" seems like a friend that sits next to your computer sometimes and says, "tell 'em to....[insert Lady Friend quote here]"
That's just the image I got.
Wait, did i already ask how to send messages? ah yes, I did.
Well, see you around, fellow advicinator.

PS have you ever heard of the site MLIA?

Well, thanks. There are no clever ways of saying thank you, so I'll just leave it at that. Much appreciated.
As far as sending messages... what do you mean? I mean you've inboxed me successfully; that's sort of like messaging. Other than that, unless the columnist has personal information listed in their info panel (like I do), you can't really message anyone, per se. Some columnists have links to their personal forums up. I used to have one up, but took it down a long time ago.
And as far as your idea of the lady friend goes... that's pretty much exactly how it works. ]
