Okay, so there's a friend of mine named Alex. We've known each other for 3 years and he's really nice, but lately he's been acting weird. At first, I thought he was just being nice, but then it got weirder.
About two weeks ago when we were talking, he kept glancing down at my lips. He did it a lot and after a while, it started to creep me out. He did this during four different conversations. A week ago, he was in a group of mine during our technology class, and my friend Lyndsey turned around and asked if he was always in our group. He said no, and then my other friend said, "He's only in this group because he's in love with Emily." Lyndsey said, "That's exactly why." And when I asked her, she said she was serious.
Then, this past Wednesday, he came up to me after class and complimented me on my part in one of our band songs. When he did, he seemed really jumpy and over-excited and when he was done, he waved, smiled, and left.
Yesterday, my friend, Gabi, drew a baby on my Algebra folder and wrote down that it was mine and Alex's baby, and then showed him. After that, Lyndsey, my friend, Kange, and my other friend, Emmy, started teasing the two of us. I told them all to shut the hell up, but they just kept going. Alex told them to stop several times, but I couldn't help and feel that he was pleased by all of the attention.
I know that the only sure way to know if he likes me is to ask him, which I plan to do on Tuesday. I think he does, but it would be nice to know what others think. Please, tell me what you think below. I'd hate to ask him and be embarrassed when he tells me that he doesn't like me.
